i miss my two colleagues really badly. I miss Sujun whacking me whenever she get excited talking about her ec, I miss Siew Ee offering insight to the way people act. I miss both of them a lot. So much whenever I pass by their cubicle I will look inside only to see empty desk and chairs, and get myself disappointed even though I expected it.

I miss taking bus to Connection 1 and eating the bah chor mee with them and buying Gongcha.

August would have been perfect without their departure.

Like seriously perfect. damn.

Now I have to survive on my self entertainment, which eh, apparently is serving me well so far. -.-

urghh it's end of july already. ): had to bid farewell to one of my friend at work soon. but it's okay, we should meet up soon again!! :) and next week i will have to bid farewell to another friend at work, sigh, and then 1 month later, I will be bidding farewell to my workplace and probably start school. Used "probably" because I have yet to be confirm (but i believe the chances are pretty high).

Well, I would say July is a spontaneous month. Having last minute meet up, cancellation at last minute, change of plan (so often i lost count) so on and so forth. Went for various gatherings which makes me happy, makes me moody, but what's left to stay now is happy mood. :D probably got to thank luck for finding this job at SGH.

There's this day when I was very disappointed and I felt moody even the next day, and my disappointment ended when I had lunch with my friends in SGH. Nope, i didn't talked about it, but it just ended. just like this. sometimes I'm fascinated by how my mind works. :)

Hmm wait, there's actually 2, but the another one is my fault for misinterpreting the sms. I re-read again and realised I totally got the meaning wrong, and I hurried to clarify and clear everything up.

Well, but overall, this month has been a pleasant month. I have to thank my current workplace because the environment makes me a happy person. The previous few months before I started working in SGH was the darkest moment in my life, lifeless and sad person the environment molded me into. I can feel the depression in me even when I was with friends, and I lived everyday (including weekends) thinking "damn, i have to start work soon). that sucks, and that accompany me all the way until weekday comes and I have to work.

But now, no matter where I'm, I'm happy. :D well, not always happy but generally joyful. it's a feeling i hope it wouldn't disappear soon.

Well, i'm starting to limit myself to 2 days out per week starting from the last week of July. i need balance. and I need a new notebook because my current notebook is going to be finish up soon.

next month is probably the month to go with the flow, as according to my friend who i have to bid farewell to on Monday. ): and i hope that flow has better be a smooth one, like really really smooth.

okay shit, i miss blogging. i miss typing all the thoughts I had and then backspace backspace as and when I like. but nope, I'm lazy to maintain both a blog and a hand written diary. so, once in a moonlight i will be back. okay, probably once in a month. hahahaha, see, i love typing random thoughts like this.

June has been an expensive and fruitful month. I felt like I gone through so much during this month, I broke and mend a friendship, I met new people and people who I had not met for so long and I must say all this events made my June a memorable one.

The new people I've met makes me think that fate is crucial. I met someone who I've known for 2 years and did chat at times but it wasn't until that day when I believe fate is crucial. It felt like.. everything that happened that day just fall nicely.

And I met someone who resembles another person so much I still find it hard to believe I had the opportunity to meet someone so identical. Really. I realised I have never felt this different for so many years, 4.5 years I think?

And right now, in my workplace, I met another two people whose characters are refreshing, for example, they love pigeon watching. And they make my life a good one, and we connect in a way such that I feel like I could tell them everything, and we just known one another! :)))) And to have someone to discuss observations with me feels good. :)

I'm still penning down all my activities in pen and I'm enjoying it still. At least I have my Facebook to look through my random thoughts at times and my Itouch to look through all the photos I took. :)

I'm enjoying being a little secretive. :D

work is pretty good, like my colleagues uses Face-book and they chat during office hours. so yup, I'm on Face-book for 80% of the time but chatting with my colleagues, maybe not. ): cos there's no one to talk to? tee hee, but it's okay la, I'm fine with it, since it's just a temporary 3 months job. :)

I think I might not be updating this space as often because I'm moving back to hand written journal/diary. :)

speaking of which, I need a apple product so badly. touch/phone/pad, I just need one of them desperately. not to mention, this past year without my itouch is miserable.

i feel good now, like I've just discover another hidden gem or something, well, it is la, friendship of y years does not come by easy.

and and and and I just got a job! YAY!!! I'm getting worried as the days pass by without any good news yet (and it's only 1 week?) and I went for this interview and I was immediately confirmed.

oh, and, I auctally printed my o lvls transcript on my NP transcript this morning, like 2am in the morning? i was still wondering why is that paper particularly thick and why is the print like this (NP results together with O lvl results on a same page) then i saw the NP chop and i was like... OMG SHIT.

so I had to run down to NP today. grrr, tiring day. went to SGH Outram Park, then to Raffles Place, then to NP, leave NP and return to NP, reached home, then to JP to meet friend, then finally home again.

cos I'm starting work tmr, no more butter factory tonight for me. ): ): ): i have never been to butter factory ever and I wanna try flaming drink again! i'm determined to overcome flaming lor!!

finally finally, my past week has been miserable because I'm not generating any income at all. finally those miserable days are over! or maybe not, but at least I can stop worrying about $$$. shit, it's like i've just confirmed i'm a slave to money. ): i don't want leh.

but okay la, heng-fully, Yuling inspired me by making a card for me on graduation day and I've finally decided that I should be much more generous ( in terms of $$) to my friends than before :D i still can't forget how surprised and touched I'm when I received her card and flowers from them. it's like the flowers don't come cheap, and they just spent it on me?!

Misconceptions

random but LOLLLLL, i was suprised that Kopitiam in Causeway Point actually sells MMB? but hmmm, not as good as JiDeChi nor the one in Taiwan. but for the price.. hmmmm. :p after that, we travel to a field with a hump near Causeway Point which all along, i thought is going to be a hill and I thought I really had to climb (which is cool!) but nahhh, after I reached, i realized it's a field with a hump. and then haha, all I wanted was to fly kite there.
anyway soon after some photos, it starts to rain and damn, it was so humid grrr hard to stand. ): heng my junior brought his umbrella, if not ... gg. so we went back to Causeway Point and decided to go for dinner, and we kinda randomly picked NEX.
well, then at NEX i said "stupid things", as defined by my junior, which origins from a misconception, and i went rounds around the misconception which led to even more misconceptions and confusion, and things almost got out of hand. but okay, things are cleared up now. phew. and I didn't realize i actually know my junior close to 6 years already. whatever, I feel like I'm 19 still. :D

so we talked in Starbucks and then Siti had to leave. ): so Sasi, Saties and I went to walked around in CM and then finally settled for Baskin Robbins ice cream, and we talked on rather personal stuff, which hehe, tempted Sasi to postpone her stuff and well, she did postpone her stuff. :D

Was late again for Ellin and Jermain's ceremony. cos I woke up pretty early and I assume there is going to be enough time hence I dilly dally and ultimately, late again, by 15 minutes. well, i really have to work on this before I start school. it's a habit so hard to kick!

then we went for lunch! i remained silent throughout the lunch because I said something really offensive. sigh, i feel very bad even till now. ): But I don't have the courage to apologize. ): ):

well, anyway, we had lunch at this restaurant in Sunset way, and it was expensive, but considering the fact that it makes us really full, i think it's worth it. $25 for buffet-type of fullness, well, worth it!

So I went to SIM to submit my application and grrr, i queued up for 30 minutes, only to discover my transcript is not enough, i need my NP dipolma certificate. ): so.. i didn't complete the application. ):

and then Lee Woon was on her way from SP in a cab, so I hopped on the taxi she is in from SIM bus stop and head to NP for Shiyun's and JiaHui's photo session.

It's a pity I didn't take a photo with this standboard on Wednesday. ): ): so we took a few shots and I went to meet Jia Hui. it's been ages since I last seen her, the last time was last Oct! saw her parents there too, and her mummy recognized me. cos we sort of grow up together, like we know each other since we were 9, and we were rather close because of the "don't friend/friend" shit which is damn stupid.

We attended the same student care center and primary school, and we were like sisters in student care in the morning, but afternoon when i reached Shuqun, she just started to shun away from me. Despite the friend/don't friend, we shared a lot of secrets together, maybe that's why i wasn't really bothered by the friend/don't friend thingy.

me and Ping Siew, I know her through Jia Hui, because she was a really close friend of Jia Hui. I didn't really interact with her but I know she is very nice to talk to. I remembered there was once I saw her, and we walked from atrium to blk __ (which i couldn't remember), and the whole journey was great! like argh, there's so many to talk about!

Fri Night: ZOUKOUT

//hehehe, decided to re-structure this post again. :D cos the flow wasn't very right the last time I post. :P

after Shiyun's graduation, we went to hang out together with her cousin and her cousin's friends at Block 73 because it's only 5pm! then we went to ourspace to play games before heading off to Far East for dinner, and all i had is tom yum because I'm still full and sick, the chocolate mudpie i had earlier on was really... then then then initially Lee Woon, Shi Yun and I planned to go Clark Quay but we decided to visit Zouk with her cousin and her cousin's friend instead. hehe, so yup, Zouk we come! drank Lemon Bomb first which was pretty much.. okay, fine, nothing much. us trying out Lemon Bomb.. which is free as we had two free housepour that comes with the admission ticket.. which costs $25. but worth it la. :) since it's Lee Woon's first time there. ^^

our eyes looked bright, as in, like awaken bright! okay, wait.. Shi Yun's eye stayed that way for the whole night, mine got dimmer and smaller after I drank Flaming while Lee Woon's one got smaller and she actually shut her eyes when we were dancing? LOL LOL LOL.

us with Shiyun's cousin and cousin's friends, and we were given a table because one of her cousin's friend's dad is a VIP there. well, apparently CitiBank member can have free entry too. :D but well, my parents doesn't own any CitiBank card. anyway, even if they does, i have no idea how am i supposed to tell them I wanna use the card to club. -.- oh ya!!! soon after we finished the lemon bomb, Lee Woon, Shi Yun and I decided to try flaming (just googled, it's auctally called Flaming Lamborghini).  I was rather afraid actually (and excited!) because I'm damn scare I will get drunk and then i don't know what I will do (if all i did was to giggle giggle I'm absolutely fine with it, I'm afraid I will do even more extreme things like saying things I shouldn't be saying, or worst still, pouring all my sorrows out) and ShiYun warn me beforehand this drink is not to be under-estimated. Flaming Lamborghini: an alcoholic cocktail drink. A mixture of Kahlua, Amaretto, Vodka, Yellow Chartreuse, Blue Curacao and Milk. To be lited up and drank at one go.

the milk was poured into the drink to extinguish the fire. so i drink it and store most of the liquor in my mouth because Shiyun mentioned that she drank too fast the previous time that she got dizzy, so i was afraid and I chose to sallow it slowly. but my throat felt hot after consumption.

me with 90% liquor inside my mouth. Woah, both Lee Woon and Shi Yun were awesome, they auctally finished it fast and they had another one, which is known as Super Flaming.  I was already feeling pretty tipsy by then, and energy-less and i have a urge to lean on people, like totally depend on a person, and I totally lean on Lee Woon and Shi Yun a lot of times.

I was like oh my god.. i don't feel good at all. so we tried to dance and after a while I gave up, i couldn't take it at all. so we went to the toilet again and i just threw up. :/ i was so ashamed of myself, I felt like I'm creating trouble for the cleaner, like can't drink still act like can drink. :/ :/ i kept apologizing to the cleaner because i felt really bad about it. and I had to throw away my Motorola handphone strap because eh, it was infested with my vomit stuff too. ): ): ): at least I can wash the comb but my Motorola handphone strap... ): ): heng I got another different Motorola handphone strap!!!! i have to treasure that one! then we went out of Zouk because Katrice (friend of Shiyun's cousin) is heading home. and i felt better outside, without the music and everything. Soon, we came in again, and we decided to head to phuture and dance! and as we have free drinks coupon, we decided to use it to exchange for some drinks, which I didn't drink because I don't think i can take it.

okay la, i look quite gg but auctally i was already pretty okay already. as in I think i can walk straight if I want to?

so, we danced all the way till 4am. it was good, though Shiyun said i looked like i'm jogging. -.- ahhahhaa, and wooosh, i think I wouldn't enjoyed so much if not for Shiyun, who really is super high! she danced like so nice and I had the urge to dance like her too. :)
And I saw WJ there! I know he clubs but I didn't expect to chance into him that night. I remembered I was squeezing through the crowd with Lee Woon and Shi Yun behind me and I saw his side view, the first thought I had was "he looks like WJ, is he WJ?" then he turned around and my mind went screaming"OMG, IT'S HIM!!" and then I keep staring at him, well, he noticed that too because he stared at me back which is more like "who is this girl who keeps staring at me like..." ha ha ha, expected. I didn't expect him to remember me like I remember him.
then throughout the whole night, all i had in mind was "I have to take photo with him if i see him again". and the fact is i never get to see him that night again. maybe I was just saying, maybe if I really see him again, I wouldn't do that, or would I?  good, at least this question is better than me repeatedly thinking about the mistake I've made in the afternoon during lunch (with Ellin, Yuling and Seetheng).

It's graduation day today! :D met up with Gee Jing at around 2pm at SIM to settle/clear doubts about school-related stuff. it was close to 3pm when we finished everything and i should have gone for the ceremony first because we are supposed to report by 3pm but but but but I decided to have my Kaki Fuyong. :D

i miss miss miss miss Kaki Fuyong so much. :D i remembered there was once when both Siti and I were late for a certain paper because we went to have lunch first hahahaha.

anyway, after lunch, I met up with Siti first and then Sasi, who was late for the first time. Gee Jing was going off when Sasi told me friends can view the ceremony even without invitation cards because they wouldn't check at all. So I asked if Gee Jing would like to stay for the graduation because we wanted a photo together but really, I'm running late for the ceremony and really couldn't afford the time to take a good photo. :/ so so so so, she agreed to stay and because Lee Woon and Shi Yun arrived already also, the three of them view my ceremony together.

And what a surprise Lee Woon and Shi Yun presented me! KOI BUBBLE TEA!! just the thought of the queue really moves me. haha! it is really frustrating to queue up for Koi, but they did it anyway! :) :)

so I finished the drink when we were in another lecture hall meant for late people. I felt like I just finished 2.4km run at that moment, being late, rushing here and there, and finally i get to rest. phewwww.

then we were escort to our seats, where the special 4 of us - Sasi, Siti, Wei You and I were isolated in a corner because the organizer couldn't squeeze us into our courses. ): so yeap, throughout the whole session, we were separated. it's a good thing la, actually, :) cos we get to sit together! :D

After the ceremony ended, Sasi, Siti and I decided to take a photo with the teddy bear we were given from NP. :D

and when graduation ended, we went to meet our family/friends outside convention centre. I met up with Yuling, See Theng and Catherine first, who secured a table and food for me. And I was overjoyed when they presented me the exact Koi flavour which I had last year! (with a little shocked because I was really full after drinking the Koi in the afternoon) And also sunflowers and a hand made graduation card. <3

The brownie which I ate even thought I shouldn't. But I avoid all fried food because I'm heaty. :)

then I went on to find Lee Woon, Shi Yun and Gee Jing. :) :) after finding them, we all got together and I felt so truly blessed with them. It's been so long since I last felt so. Felt so blessed, felt so loved, felt so happy.

I couldn't really remember the details, all I can remember is the feeling, blessed, loved and happiness that is so hard to describe. then I saw Douglas! ha ha, and asked to take a photo with him because he is like a really good friend and brother to me! always initiating conversations with me and helping me whenever I needed help. :) :)

and I named him Small D (because his name is Douglas, and he looks so tiny) which he don't like but doesn't mind. Okay, fine, I named it that way because hahaha, and he always called me Big B_ _ _ s because during Year 1, I was classmate with YiWen and he compared and decided to call me that! and it's been 3 years! but recently, thankfully, he changed to Miss Neo! ha ha ha. I think Miss Neo sounds so much better la. :p

after taking the photo with him, I went back to my table to drink Koi and Yuling asked me to take a photo together with IT, and I thought she meant KOI, so I happily posed with Koi and they were stunned and puzzled because they were referring to the flowers!

then I took photos with Catherine, who has yet to return her blouse yet because she wants to take photo with me. I was really really really touched and I wished so badly I could turn back time and attended her graduation in the morning (which I intended to, but I couldn't make it in time).

I missed her so much! I miss the random meet ups with her, miss teasing her and seeing her smile without any idea how to tease me back. I miss the days when we were so closely connected during fencing time when she would be there for me anytime I need her. :) I'm so glad she attended my graduation, if not I would never have known how much I missed her. I miss her so badly the first thing I did when I saw her was to give her a big big big hug!

Catherine taught me the right way to hold flowers which I thought she was trying to play me but realised I've mistaken her after Yuling and See Theng told me so.

With Yuling, who made me a card so pretty and sunflowers! I felt so loved when I received both the card and flower, and really, I think I don't deserved them because I'm such a calculative, insensitive and insincere friend.

See Theng who brought me flowers too and yay! who is going to SIM too! i can't wait to start school because yay! we might meet in SIM! :D :D I remembered we used to be close in Secondary 3 and she would call me at night and we would talk on phone for hours! And I would never forget how ON she is during secondary school days, everything also okay, especially when sometimes, my ideas were insane! ha ha!

And yes, Peiyu managed to make it for my graduation. The first thing I did was to hug her also! I just went "OMG PEIYU!!!! YOU CAME YOU CAME! " then HUG HUG HUG HUG HUG! haahhahaha. :D

I can't imagine what will my life be if I've never met her in Secondary school days. She's probably the only one individual who can stand all my tantrums, all my frustrations, all my nonsense and shit! hahaha. <3 Not to forget the crazy phone calls we always had! I remembered the longest record to be 9pm - 4am and we can't continue because my parents are going to wake up for work at 4 plus in the morning.

Althought I didn't managed to knit a really bonded friendship with my classmates throughout the 3 years, however, I'm glad I got into the cohort. I met interesting and friendly classmates who helped me even thought we weren't close. Like what Siti said, it is fate. It is fate that brought us together. :) Even right now, I can still remember those random lunch breaks going to Makan Place, Canteen 3 or library in the afternoons for food or for movie. I can vividly remember rushing for every lesson in the morning and laughing at jokes our classmates made.

So many so many that I could remember , that I wish could be prolong but it's over.

I'm feeling very refreshed right now because i just slept for close to 12 hours, from 3am - 2pm. shiokness!

Spend my day in home watching drama with my mum and then randomly heading down to have a hair cut which grrr, I'm regretting currently.

And then it's already 6pm close to 7pm. ): why does relaxed moment passes so fast?

sigh, had to work tomorrow, all the reports which my supervisor will be going through with me tomorrow, programming codes.

grr, my guess is, I will properly have to OT again.

3 more days and it's going to be the weekends! this weekends are going to be relaxed for me because I have nothing on the weekends. :D

work is so stressful for me I wished I could just escape from this city, which well, my home is a good place because it's so quiet and so remote, it doesn't feel like Singapore! heh, just the ideal place I wanna stay during the weekends!

Vesake Day eve!

Planned to dine in Chinatown with the girls but due to work, we didn't execute our plan and I had a late dinner with Lee Woon at around 9pm, who had dinner already and was accompanying me. sigh, work.

in the end, we met at Jurong Point and dined in Ajisen, which is still having promotion for it's ramen. :) chatted about school for Lee Woon and her recycle instrument project. LOL, she had to make a working musical instrument using recycle items. heh, good luck! :p

after that, followed her to Citibank, next, post office for her dad's credit card payment which is due today.

we parted after that, and I went home to watch a new drama with my mum which I borrowed from Rida. I have been dying to watch this new drama since Saturday but had no time to watch it. work work work and more work. grrr, i would appreciate a 2 weeks break to rest. heh, dream on. ):

woohoo! holiday tomorrow! it's been 9 days since I last had a decent sleep and I really appreciate whoever who invented Vesak Day!

Singapore Biennale 2011 Fleatique!

attended Flea Tique for Singapore Biennale which took place in Old Kallang Airport. reached at 11am and both sis and me were totally chui because we woke up at 9am! especially me, I was really tired because I had a long day yesterday (Saturday). good news is.. Tuesday is a holiday! :D :D

after we got everything set up, my mum and I went around to explore and took goodies bag, tried the activities over there which includes kite flying and badge making. :D lame but enjoyable! :)

then my sis took turn and went off exploring with my mum. after they came back, i went off to get balloons and realized they also provide free Polaroid services, so, I immediately went to my sister and mum, told them about it and went back there with my sister to take a photo! we took 2 identical photos for own collection, after a while my sister went off with my mum to take the Polaroid again! LOL.

we had lunch at 2pm, and then, they went off to explore again, and I realized the Polaroid team had changed team. heh, after my mum and my sis returned, I immediately asked my mum to go and take the photo because the new team doesn't recognize us! LOL. we took 2 photos, both different, kept one for myself and one for my mum.

after taking the photos, I went off to explore with my mum again the East block. some of the art piece...

Food fair!

Met up with Peiyu after work ended at 7pm for the food fair in IMM. grrr, I auctally forgotten to bring my contact , eyeliner and specs to change into (yup, I'm wearing my old specs for work) and so, because I'm vain, I choose to walk without my specs and there are times where I had to squirt to see words on the menu. after we met up, I asked to go to this little corner just right opposite Four Leaves which sells ramen. and well, it doesn't taste bad and price wise, cheaper than ajisen! he he.

after finishing the ramen in Ajisen, we head off to Pepper Lunch to have ice cream at $1 instead of $1.70! i expected it to be really big, but it turns out to be a really small cup. ): the ice cream was pretty good too! and once again, we played with the feedback form again he he!

after finishing the ice cream at Pepper Lunch, we head off to our next destination - Cafe Cartel for Peiyu's sundae, which is $2! and not only did we have ice cream, we also ate their free flow of bread and that was what that made me really really full. xD and they also provide free drinks. xD he he, cheapo me!

we chatted for close to 2 hours until Cafe Cartel is closing. chatted about work, school, friends, future, so many i couldn't elaborate all here. :)
and after the chat with her, i realized lol, i did pretty well for poly, i mean, my peers during secondary school who actually worked so hard.. couldn't get into a local uni too, and ahem, they worked hard. LOL, and me? i slack all the way from the beginning to the ending and can still achieve this current GPA, hmmm, not bad not bad. *pat myself* he he he. talked about how her school is, how my work is (well, more like complain how my work is heh) and random things like a little on GE, a little on dramas and this and that. haha. :p

Hello! Our initial plan was to cycle in East Coast Park during the night (which I thought was overnight, but what Ah Net meant was just cycling in the night), so after we clarify things up in Bugis station, we decided to have dinner in Bugis instead.

I was rather disappointed because I thought it was a overnight cycling and i gave up two chances to go to the Singapore Biennale 2011 during the weekends. and I have been dying to go for the event so badly, and the thought of not having the chance to see all the exhibition is just grrr. ):

so when I reached home, I was planning to watch the last episode of Princess Prosecutor, I left home without watching the last episode argh. but but but, when I got hme, I realised my family were watching the General Election and it was so exciting I just sat down watching until 4am before I went to bath. And yes, Princes Prosecutor was so deeply etched in my mind I immediately watched the last episode after I finished athing.

i will make sure I will buy Princess Prosecutor if I ever spot it in Poh Kim sales!

the GE 2011 is getting so much more exciting. the difference 5 years can make is surprisingly huge. 5 years ago, PAP seems to have everything under control because they have full access to the mass media. 5 years later, they can't seem to do anything about social network though, which the Opposition is gaining control of. and sorry, but I chase Facebook more than I chase television news, and er, i believe a lot of us does so.

Oh ya, I was watching the GE 2011 with my parents earlier on with my parents. damn shiok to watch GE with them, especially seeing them rebuke partially almost every sentence the PAP has said.

Wooo, 5 years, hey, I was just 16 during the previous election. At then, i was still taking my N levels, I believed strongly in palm reading, I have just started my blog, I have just signed up the cheapest plan for my current phone number, I have just applied for my POSB ATM Card, I have just started to tie my hair, I like to end every word with 'z' and I thought the next election wouldn't come so fast becuase hey, it's 5 years.

who knows boom boom, next week is GE 2011. my god, what happen. 5 years just boom boom gone!??!?!?!

hmmm, wait, not really boom boom gone actually, in this 5 years, i became financially independent, I've managed to get 2 cameras using my savings and earnings, I've completed O levels and diploma, I believe in body language than palm reading, I built up a fanciful resume, I traveled out of Singapore without my family, I upgraded to a debit card, I no longer carve for whatever my peers had and I met people who had and will continue to play a significant part in my life. :)

come to think of it, 5 years might be scary, but the last 5 years.. is definitely a rewarding one for me. :)

it scares me to think what will be of me 5 years down the road. ): like how I was scared 5 years ago? hopefully things turned out the way I wanted it to be. :D

worked today, and i'm working with one of my juniors who is in the same course and of same group during AE Camp last year (link) as me! what are the chances man...!

When I step into the video store and saw him, he looked so extremely familiar and i realised he should be one of the juniors who is in my group during the AE Camp heh! And then i spent so much time pondering over how I should ask him because I'm afraid I recognise the wrong person, and then oops, awkward. :p

so I ponder and ponder, and great, he came over to say hello to me, our conversation:

Him: Hi! My name is Kai Yong (I didn't catch his name at this point of time because i'm more concerned in making sure if I'm correct or not)

Me: From? (he was totally stunned! LOL, okay, I was pretty stunned too because it's so rude right! and it sounds like "oh, you better be from some good school if not don't even bother talking to me")

Him: oh NP.

Me: Aerospace... Electronics..? (lol, I almost forget what aerospace I was in hahahaa!)

Him: ya.. how do you know? am I that famous (really, LOL)

Me: LOL, no la, you participated in the AE Camp last year right?

Him: ya.. how did you.. OH, you were that girl, that girl my group leader!

Me: yesssssss, haiyo, I recognise you almost instantly after I saw you and kept wondering if you were really the guy in my group all along lor cos you look so damn familiar!! phew, make me sit here keep thinking and thinking of how to ask you without sounding wrong. heng you came and introduce yourself to me hehe.

at some point of time,

Him: eh, I still don't know what's your name eh!

Me: oh, ya hor, LOL, I'm Sing Yi, what's your name ah? I didn't catch your name earlier on, too keen to confirm if you are that junior in my group just now.

Me: oh okay okay, heee, when I first came in hor and saw you, I was like "you look damn familiar" and keeps reminding me of this photo taken in the bus of you pouting.

Met up with Lee Woon & ShiYun in City Hall earlier on because I had to meet a buyer in City Hall to sell my 24-70mm lens and the deal went through. *feel like inserting a happy emotion but then, happy? no, I'm pretty sad*

I like 24-70mm very very much, but I don't like it's age, the price I got it for and how it is going to depreciate like my Canon 450D because of it's code. So I've decided to sell it so that I can move on to get another copy of 24-70mm, with a newer code and at a lower price. I know this wait is going to be long, but I can wait, after all, the my usage on this lens has been greatly reduced since I've returned from Taiwan..

After the deal, went for dinner at Aston with Lee Woon and Shi Yun. the place was so packed but we got to sit in a corner, so it wasn't as noisy as I thought it would be!

we had our late dinner and then we went off to New Look to take a look. brought oxford shoes from there as I really need a pair. :) while lee woon got a top there!

the pair of shoes i had to replace the previous pair which I left at Taiwan. :) i love new look shoes, they really can last!

oh oh oh, the funniest joke I laughed so loud at:

Bugis for food!

Met up with Ah Net and Chai Li after work! it's beeeeen so long since I last seen Ah Net! It's already 2 months, damn, interacting with her makes me miss the days in Motorola when we will always talk about cameras! Like keep talking about the good deals in Clubsnap, but oh well, talk only! HA HA! :p We met after I finished my work at 6:15pm! And omgggg, the rain was freaky heavy I had difficulty going to JE station, which, luckily, I didn't because a young couple drove me there when they saw me walking in the rain! And I thought we would be going to shop in Bugis, which we didn't. heh! We went to JiDeChi (ha ha! I know, again?!) at Liang Seah road! hmmm, I took too long taking photos (and they weren't nice to start with... ><) so my lovely MMB (hehehe, mian mian bing!) kind of like melt already! We ordered quite a number of deserts leh, LOL, we had grass jelly, durian MMB, mango MMB, glutinous rice coated with peanut and there's this dish full of mango. and the mango was awesome. but I just can't stop eating the MMB! :p
Like I keep eating and eating until i was going to finish the MMB THEN i realised oops, Ah Net and Chai Li didn't really eat hor.. xD
And when I was talking, I kept eating, LOLLL, really is cannot stop eating! xD
We talked about serious stuffs, like yeap, serious stuff like my future studies, and her wedding! Can't wait for her wedding, especially when she told me she might be planning to conduct her wedding in Thailand! I thought that's awesome! and she said that's because those who are not close to her wouldn't spend the money to buy tickets to Thailand for her wedding, so the wedding would really be just with the close ones! When she said that, both Chai Li and I said Okay without much thoughts! :p okay la, we were concerned about the staying budget only lor. ^^ but don't know when her wedding is... ): she's looking at next year.
then we talked about my studies and she knock some sense into me. I might as well take private in SIM because all I need is the degree certificate, and that it's not worth it if I were to go overseas just to widen my social circle, like it's the self that makes the difference, not like I go overseas then boom suddenly wow, I'm famous! LOL. And if I were to train my independence, that's redundant because I'm already very independent already (but really?). And as I age, my brain will function slower, so it's not a good choice. Not to mention, for this 5 years, my pay will be of diploma standard, and will only be raise when I hit 30 (Since I will be graduating only by then) while my friends will be enjoying a higher pay when they are like 24 years old? Furthermore, it doesn't matter whether it's a private degree or local degree unless I'm planning to work in the government sector. And lastly, the money and time I saved, 3 years for 30k in SIM and 9 years (5 years of working + 4 years of studies) for 200k (tuition fee and cost of living) in Australia. oh well. SHIT, now I'm really tempted to study in SIM liao LOL.

the glutinous rice, I used to hate this a lot because it's seems so weird, but recently (perhaps last year?) I tried it and omggg, love it! after desert, we went to Laselle 15 minutes restaurant for dinner! heeee, talked about cameras with Ah Net during the walking and almost got lost! :p

ChaiLi commented that she always twist and has no new poses, so I suggest her to enhance her twist at her mouth because everything she smile her mouth will become crooked one LOL.

Ah Net permed her hair already, and then I commented "not nice, you look like obasa!" I prefer her in long straight hair! looks youngerrr! ^^

offical graduation date

it's official! I will be graduating on the 25th of May! I don't know what I'm feeling, I'm afraid, I'm excited, I'm sad and I'm remorseful.

I actually felt excited because I get to attend my friends' graduation day instead of getting to attend my own graduation day! there are so many what-ifs that is caught in a while loop in my mind. like:

I'm remorseful because I'm graduating with JUST a diploma. Arghhh, i don't wanna repeat the reasons why I'm so remorseful blah blah blah. I'm already as negative as I can be towards the graduation day already, I don't want to make the situation a even messier one by thinking about the redundant past.

am almost completing "My girlfriend is a Gumiho". the reason why I love love love it so much is because it's auctally a production by the Hong sisters!

I came across the series when it first arrive in Rida, and a lady saw it and immediately asked to rent it, telling me the show is extremely nice blah blah blah, so I read the introduction behind the dvds and it does look nice. and I've been waiting and waiting but eventually I didn't managed to wait for the dvds to be back, and now I'm watching via pps.

Damn, I was wondering why is the plot, the way the movie so alike to Hong Gil Dong & Sassy Girl Chun Hyang. did a little research and it's by the hong sisters! no wonder so familiar and so damn nice. :D

My favorite script writing: the Hong Sisters!

I had follow the Hong Sisters faithfully since their first production (okay, i didn't watch some though). Most of their production have no problem passing the 20% ratings except for "You are beautiful".

1. Their first production (my favourite of all time!) : Sassy Girl Chun Hyang

their first production Sassy Girl Chun Hyang, which my aunt burn it into vcds, got me so mesmerized that I remember when I was secondary 4, the day I was so going to complete the last episode of it, I went to Jurong East Swimming complex with Ellin and See Theng, and all that's in my mind is Chun Hyang Chuan Hyang Chun Hyang. but we stayed in JE swimming complex for a relatively long time because I keep telling myself "i must control control control the urge to watch it, I can watch it during the night, concentrate on playing first!!"

and then when I was secondary 5, I watched again, and then repeat every year until the vcds gave up on me. so, I brought the orginial DVDs during the poh kim sales 2/3 years back, but uhm, I think I didn't watch it last year. tempted to re watch again hehe.

ever since that show, Jae Hee has been my favorite actor. can't forget him as Myrong Rong and Han Chai Ying as Chun Hyang!

2. My Girl

I didn't watch this but I know this is a awesome art and I should watch it but I just didn't watch it hehe. I didn't know it's a Hong Sisters production until much later, like 3 - 4 years later?

3. Fantasy Couple

didn't watch this either, i thought this was just one of the typical modern love story so yup, gave it a miss.

4. Hong Gil Dong

also during the poh kim sales in 2008, I brought Hong Gil Dong because I read from the net that it's damn unique and cute and also because it's a production of the Hong Sisters. Brought it home, watched it, fall in love with it! And since then, Kang Ji Hwan has been my second favourite (Close to third la auctally) actor. but the ending of the show, i don't like it. ):

Sung Yuri and Kang Ji Hwan is so damn cute together, a pity the ending is like.. grrrrr. ): i didn't expect such ending, i was expecting endings like Sassy Girl Chun Hyang lehhhh.

5. You are beautiful

didn't watch this too. i don't like the cast. thought the ratings weren't that bad (like always ranked around #9 - #13) but it's so far, the louiest ratings of any Hong sisters production. (didn't make the 20% rating)

6. My girlfriend is a gumiho

I'm still watching it! can't wait to finish the show! but still, nothing will beat Sassy Girl Chun Hyang, my all time favorite. thanks god it's a happy ending.

chicken rice burger

had been drinking gong cha for the past two days, heh, that's enough to remind myself of how I've spent my good Friday and Saturday (today!) the next time I read up this post. :)

saw a girl who look almost like a friend of mine AGAIN, like the hair, the way they use their phones, the eyes, the nose, the face shape. the only difference is actually only.. the mouth. and it's the second time I saw her. the first time I saw her, I thought I saw my friend, and was about to call her until i started to obverse like really keep looking and realizing she's not, plus, heh, my friend isn't interested in the place I'm at.

other than that, tried chicken rice rice burger. man, I took such courage to try that after the last time a few years back with my secondary school friends in MOS burger. it wasn't a pleasant experience anyway. I had no idea what to eat, so I got myself a chicken rice rice burger, cos I'm sick of long john, macdonals, kfc and burger king. ): decided to try something new, so got the chicken rice rice burger from this new store. heee, quite good! $4 with small portion but neverthless good. :D :D

Used the whole of my time at home editing the photos for the girl because she needs the photo by tomorrow, tiring, been staring at the laptop for the whole day from 9 to 7 in office, and then 9 to 3am in the night. 16 hours of staring at laptop, i fear my eyes degrees are gonna suffer as a consequences sooner or later :|

once I'm done with this assignment, I can probably use more time for the Taiwan Trip, and once the Taiwan Trip is done, I can start going for TFCDs again heh! like it's been close to 2 months since I last went for a TFCD? ): or maybe I should just go for the TFCDs whilst updating the Taiwan Trip whenever I have the time.. hmmmmmm..

oh! heh, lovely! my colleague in Rida Video Shop just called me to work next weekend! :> The last time I worked was last month (the Friday before I flew on Monday), and my colleague told me that would be my last day of work there because I would be starting my interm 2 days after I return to Singapore, and I was so taken aback I just said a "ya" (notice it's ya not yup.)

I was pretty saddened about it because i don't mind working while juggling with interim (not like I have never done this before) and it feels like oh, I'm not so efficient so this is just an excuse to sack me. (my colleagues always use this on other people) even thought part of me knows this isn't true because before I told my colleague I will be starting interim 2 days after I return to SG, he told me to be prepared for hectic workdays after I return from Taiwan.

Probably what makes me sad is I tried my best in work but there's nothing good in me which cannot be substitute with. heh, so it means really a lot when my colleague asked me if i can work again. :> so what even if it's because there's really no one who can work that's why they need me? wouldn't that means I'm much more *insert good work attitude* (LOL) than the other colleagues?

it's not easy to work for 9 months in Rida, uhm, it's not hard auctally la, crap, what am I saying LOL. When I see so many part timers who came and part (some unhappily) during this 9 months, I kinda felt scared but yet pleased too knowing i did a good job and hence I manage to keep the job.

So far, the only long term part-timers who were still working would be Chang Hong and me. LOL, technically speaking, I worked longer, because he sprained his leg last year and rested for a good 4 months haha.

worked OT again. ): just went to this bookshop in Jurong East during breaktime and all the books were like 3 for $10. I should have gotten 1 set for Chai Li as birthday gift because she would love all those self-improvement books! I still remembered the last time we went into PageOne, we had difficulties going out from PageOne because we kept looking and browsing books. wait, practically I always have difficulties coming out from bookshops because there are so many types of books to look at.

boring? nooooooooooo. wait, i think a lot of people are like me lor, especially people around me. damn, I'm starting to miss those secondary school days when I get to go home at 3pm (and that's like really late already!) but instead of going home, we (heh, depends on who I'm with) will spend time in the bookstore at Jurong East reading and discussing astrology most of the time lol. then going "aiya ya lor, really really, true true." but heh, I will forget almost everything after I close the book. like to read but i don't really believe. :>

oh! speaking of which, i have been lunching alone recently. i actually can lunched alone. omg, it's been years since I last lunched alone outdoors. no matter what I need to have someone to lunch with me :p I'm impressed by myself I actually enjoyed lunching alone, well, compared to having lunch with my supervisor. oops, not very good attitude I know, but it's damn good to lunch alone, I can shop after I finish my lunch and slowly drag myself back to work. if it's my supervisor, after lunch we will go back to work directly (since we have nothing in common to talk about also)

I have a reason to watch this show okay! :p cos there's Ben & Jerry in the fridge and I have to eat it like, grrr, it's in my mind every minute and every second but I don't want to waste it by eating for the sake of eating.

so I picked Sunday night because I have free time on my hand (lazy to photoshop he he) and tune in to PPS (it really is cool! the quality of the movie is superb!), select this show (I've been waiting for this like forever and initally wanted to wait until next month when I will be returning for a day work in Rida Video Shtore, but i just can't wait!.. hmm.. i mean my ben & jerry can't wait la. :P) and yeap, finished the whole show.

the movie is worth my time and Ben & Jerry. super shiokness enjoying both movie and ice cream together, thought it will be even better if it's on the TV because the bigger the image the better ma! but then, i'm good with watching it on my laptop. ^^

pascal is damn cute. :D :D

I still have another 1.5tub of Ben&Jerry left.. going to watch Black Swam with the ice cream, since I couldn't find some other nice cartoons yet. :p

working is already so stress, i need to make myself happy by doing some little joyful thing, that's what I'm good at, lol!

Cycling trip with Chai Li!

Went out with Chai Li today for a cycling trip! Mannnn, I missed her so much, it feel like ages since I last really talked to her, like really talked, like each talk could last for at least an 1/2 hour and could be longer if we werent working at that moment! Anyway, we delayed the cycling trip for so many times already! like we intended to go before I went Taiwan, but she can't make it, so had to change to initially last week but she couldn't again, then to this week, which was again, almost canceled because of the rain! We planned to meet at 3pm but it rained at 12pm, but heng-fully, the rain stopped at 2pm, and so we went ahead with our plan, though i was pretty lazy by then. :p I was still in bed at 1pm plus reluctant to get out of my bed LOL. so we met at 4pm (I didn't expect the rain to stop auctally..) and took bus 401 from Bedok Interchange and reached East Coast Park. We talked and talked and talked during the bus ride, like nothing else matter. :D missed talking to her so badly! like we talked about every single topic under the sun, and blah blah blah blah LOL, talked so much until I have difficulty talking because of the phlegm in my throat. :| The bikes were $6 for 2 hours, I had no idea how they reach that (but I suspect it has something to do with a promotion which I didn't look at it carefully because I was so engrossed in talking with Chaili). From my understanding, its actually $8 for 3 hours, because their promotion has always been buy one hour get 2 hours free (the last time I checked in 2008, this was the promotion). but $6, maybe it's a new promotion.:| treated Chai Li to cycling because I owed her a birthday gift! Had no idea what to get for her so I thought this gift will be a practical one, better! :D The cycling part was awesome, we cycle next to each other, so during the cycling, we didn't break our conversations at all, like keep bladder-ing on and on and on, about how we missed those days we were in Motorola, the changes Motorola is undergoing (doesn't sound good from Chai Li) and even about dogs, and the mrt incident in Ang Mo Kio. Then we went on and on, to discussing about overseas experience blah blah blah, damn awesome cycling! :)

us at Bedok Jetty! so we cycled to where I had cycled to and couldn't forget about it... I almost brought Chai Li the wrong way but as we go on, I realised something is very not right, because as we cycled on the path, I recalled that the path we are on isn't correct, there shouldn't be that much of a change, like we shouldn't miss this pretty ulu-garden path which will lead us to a small short traffic light which looks like we are in old Choa Chu Kang rout or something.

if you looked right/left, it looks like old choa chu kang road. like how it feels to be somewhere far from city (althought it wasn't, auctally) So I asked Chai Li to u-turn and we found the correct path without much difficulties, because I remember the paths which were correct and we picked up from there. :) after passing by the pretty ulu path, we reached this place (which is still exactly like what I remembered). missed this place so damn much, because it's actually the scene from the 2001 national day song "Where I belong" MV which I recognised when my cousin brought my sister and I to this trip in 2008. (cycling trip 2008) I still remembered somewhere over here in 2008, Shi Yun called me halfway and my cousin commented "wah your friend super loud" ha ha ha ha! and I enjoyed that day so much too! so much I've been yearning to try cycling again back to the same old place but didn't, until today! :)

still like before! :) awesome, just that there's quite a handful of people today, since it's a Saturday!

he he, I can't leave my specs in home when I go out! :D well, other than working.. which I will wear my another specs because it feels so near home, no spirit to wear contact lens!

airplanes taking and landing off! (wait, just taking off! because taking off and landing at a same place.. is craziness, and we see take offs only!)

this time round when I looked at this scene, I don't have the feeling like "argh, I wish I can be onboard" blah blah blah though I did say it loud. probably because I've just returned, and the airlines which i saw taking off were.. SIA, tiger airways (super lots of time -.-), Cathy Pacific and what turkish airline. and out of the above few, I just had my tried at SIA, Cathy Pacific and tiger airway.. it's good not to miss it. :D

we spent a quality of time there looking at the planes and although I wished we could continue to advance even further to Changi Beach (which is possible if not for the time) we head back to return our bikes, and we were charged because we were overtime for close to an hour LOL. Chai Li fell down at the drain when we were walking back to the bus stop after returning our bikes and hurt herself! But heng, she only had some sratches, no sprains. So we head back to Bedok and had our dinner there! Heee, had bubble tea too because I ~~remember~~ thought the store is exactly the same as the one I had in XiMenDing ~~omg omg omg, like even thought~~ it wasn't that nice, ~~but it's like the Taiwan feeling is there lo!~~

As always, I tried their Chocolate Milk Tea, I would prefer Agantea's one, ~~but but but this one has the taiwan XiMenDing feel leh~~~~~ LOL. their pearls not very nice also, it's more than chewy, it's hard!

so after getting the bubble tea, we went to the market and ordered so many food to sample! LOL. We ordered: - Curry Chicken Noodle-Laksa (Regretted, should have tried Ramen which I didn't see it until I ordered Laksa grr)- Goreng Piseh Fried Banana (superb that I had two of it!)

-Shuai Kueh. this is speechless-ly nice. Our seats were just right in front of the stall, and I had to buy it when I saw that the queue has shorten, because before long, the queue will start forming again and it can get really long too! I was pretty surprised at how long the queue can be!

-XiaoLongBaos. Damn, this was the store which sells ramen too and I didn't know it only after I ordered Laksa! I need ramennnnn grrrr! ): ): ): after finishing the food, sigh, I wanna eat the shuai kuai again la!!! and the gorang pisah!! oh, back to the point LOL, anyway, after finishing the food, we part ways and went home because it's already 9pm plus and the journey back home is so long, I reached home only at close to 11pm! tiredddd but fun day!

Dreamt about how even heroes are helpless at times. heh, the chinese words (auctally it's a song lyrics which has been constantly in my mind since I last watch the drama) were acutally played together with this scene, like the monkey's thoughts at that moment of time.

just met up with Paul from UK, who contacted me through MM about collaborating together. was extremely late oops, like 30 minutes late, and I rush all the way from the mrt station to Suntec City Starbucks. We didn't discuss much about shoots, weirdly, it's more like exchanging pointers, of which he exchanged more because he had more experience in this field than me! I have to get ready model release form for the models in the future when I work with them to protect both myself and the model herself too.

Had to leave early for another paid assignment in Yong An Park, River Valley for this lady who wanted to start up her internet business. heh, she's quite friendly! Oh oh oh! I saw not one but two big bulldogs over there! so tempted to just ignore everything and take a photo of the bulldogs! heh. And the people there were so friendly, a lady passed by me, and comment "Nice camera you have!", which I replied with "Nice dog you have!". heh, hers was a toy poodle in black. I think that's rare? Cos I only seen toy poodle in brown!

and initially I thought the photos would be pretty disappointing, but after editing, hey hey hey, no no no, not bad lor! ha ha ha.but not too good too :|

was stoning half way at Scape with my sis and my mum in flea market when I saw Shi Yun, Lee Woon and Lee Woon's sister. heh! Lee Woon brought me the A-Gan bubble tea from JE, which I've wanted to drink it since she told me about it because it's from ALISHAN!

shopped the whole flea with them and then returning to my booth while they went for dinner. Then Dad fetch us, and drove us to Singapore Flyer to have dinner at the roadside. heh, interesting concept! I don't mind going there again although the food wasn't really fantastic! ): heee.

tired, I was so tired I slept in my dad's car. heh, I rarely sleep in my dad's car cos I like to look at scenery heee.

Meeting a photographer from UK tomorrow, I hope he doesn't turn out that bad as I expected him to be. It all sounds so suspicious , but whatever la, heh, how bad would it go other than it would look very wrong? I just facebook his name, and well, the only name that appear is this guy who is like other 60 already? i hope he's younger than that heh :p

oh, and finally a paid assignment tomorrow too! the girl delayed from end week of Jan until now, feel like increasing the price from $30 to $40, but then decided not to, heh, a promise is a promise made! But if the layout she wants is going to be very complicated, I'm going to ask for an increase of my service :p

Happy april fool! heh, fool Chai Li by smsing her at last minute telling her "I'm busy right now, so I can't go for the gathering already. )" and then popping up at her place at 8pm for steamboat.

In the end, I realised we all had a misunderstand ha ha. :p long story!

This time round, it's not the usual gang, it's the latest gang with the latest interims (me old liao sad), with Ah Net, Chai Li, Zhang Xuan (from the old gang) and Siew Ping, Chong Wei & Cheng Zhi.

listened to their frustrations in Motorola under my supervisor KT, and saw Siew Ping going stress over KT's message (Can totally feel her!) and then his usual patterns never die down, like the sms he would always send "Lee Kwan, Siew Lan, blah blah blah blah, please meet in the meeting room at X time. thank you." and so many more. Ha ha, I used to think the problem lies in me, but lol, not entirely! ha ha. :p

I miss KT pretty much actually, don't know why though. 4.5 months under him, those pressure he gave which makes me grow and use my brain to think after i let it rest for 3 years, those smses which he sent and make me think think think of how to reply the right way. those words he used on me “天塌下来当棉被盖”. Ha ha, and apparently he miss me too, lol me and my “天塌下来，当棉被盖” character, as according to my colleagues! I don't really believe it initially, but they were all like serious serious, okay la, let me lie to myself lo. :P

I wished I can stay back with Ah Net (who left at 12 after we left) and Chai Li. I missed talking to Chai Li! We used to talk like every hour, we have to talk actually haha, unless I have a pressing presentation or meeting with KT, which means I have no mood to do other things already.

oh, work today, is lucky. Attend a training session at 3pm whereas my supervisor trains the overseas client from Shanghai through Skype and access remote control. heh, very familiar to me because that's what conference call is all about in Motorola. Motorola's connection is better though heh.

A lot of problems surfaced during the training, and I thought I wouldn't be able to go off by 7pm, yes 7pm. but phew, the client was like "oh, I can train my staffs first and let you know if there's any problem", which means.. end of training, at like 6 plus? heh, better than 7pm la!

so after the training, I went off to meet with my colleagues! will be starting programming next week! excited! I'm also pretty proud of myself for able to finish what I wanted to finish before the due date I gave myself. :)

other than that, there's this photographer from UK who wanted to collaborate with me for a photoshoot session. it sounds too good to be true, but I decided to give it a try anyway! He's in Singapore for two weeks, and I saw his portfolio, his models were mostly based in UK, and I check the model's information and even the photographers those models work with. so yeap, I believe he's not lying about his origin of country. He could lie, but the models lying? heh, tell me the chances.

okay, have to leave home by 1145am tomorrow. gonna pack up and get back to sleep. tired already!

working right now! heh, my first time using the website for personal use hee! I've finished earlier than expected! LOL, just completed the last section, which is the report practice, which I thought I will take 8 hours to finish, but hee heee, I took 6 hours to finish! Initially, my plan was to finish within 3 hours, that is, completing it in the morning but argh, I can hardly concentrate due to lack of sleep (i really really have to change this late sleeping habit of mine I guess)

So I tried my best to finish as much as possible before I went a late lunch at 1:30pm. For that hour, I had this feeling I'm going to faint anytime. The sun is practically burning me and it doesn't help much even when in shelter. By the time I came back, even thought I walked really slowly, I actually felt my heart pumping really really fast. ):

To add on it, I've haven't been feeling well since the morning after I drank red tea. I think I've drank too much tea. For the past week, I have been constantly drinking tea in my office, and I just Google the side effects of drinking tea, one of the side effect with "giddy". And there's so much fluorine in the tea, my favorite tea cup (I like to lie to myself saying that this tea cup is my lucky cup who brings me wonderful colleagues, because I only start using when I was in Motorola) has turned brown at it's base. ): looks and feel so used already.

Waiting for my supervisor to come back to look at the practice I've done. heh, boringgg. and my handphone is left with one bar of battery. ): cannot use it to watch movies. sad.

4th day of work. cleared the first step of work - understanding the front end user interface practically. Next I have to work on back-end interfacing practically. When my superior asked me what are the deadline I'm giving myself, I replied Friday.

I'm worried I can't finish by Friday though. I used close to 4 days for Front End, and Back End looks more complicated than anything, so... :/ heee, cannot sms that much, go for toilet breaks that much i guess.

Heh, was going throught some maths question with my mum. LOLLLL, cos apparantly, Lee Woon returned me $200 already but all I can remember are pieces of memories like "next time have to remind me you return me money already, if not I forget", "don't return first, later very hard to calculate", "I can return you this much only, if not later no money to take cab liao". like such pieces which I can't seem to join them.

So I checked my expenses book (phew, lucky I keep track!) and then tally tally, but something is still wrong, then I went to check my i-banking account, it really doesn't tally. Thinking I might have calculated something wrongly, I went to ask my mum, who pointed out where the fault is.

heeee, many a times I really admired my mum and felt it's a waste my mum didn't continue her studies when she was younger.

3rd day of working! Got pretty high today after knowing that there will be a steamboat held in my Motorola's colleague house this coming Friday!

Had the Liang Mei brought in Taiwan for dinner, the improvised one, which taste better than the last week one! :D then online from 8pm-2am. LOL, I was thinking of sleeping at 1am, but heh, was engrossed in discussing future path with Catherine, Yuling and my cousin Wei Siong. Talking to them.. really makes me feel so immature.

I wanted to write the many things I regretted, and then I realized regretting has no use, I have to pick up from here and look forward.

I should just stay focus on the path I chosen and stop regretting whatever that has been done because it's pointless crying over split milk. 5 years is fast, I'm going to treat it as if I've just started Secondary School at 21 years old...

Hehlo! (Heh as in Hair, that's how I see the word, i know it doesn't sound this way, lol, I've just go-ogled and listen to the pronunciation). Decided to work hard in learning, stayed in office till 7pm to finish what I have plan to finish tomorrow. good, which means I have the whole time tomorrow to concentrate on testing and understanding the reports part, as well as improvising the previous exercises I've done if there's a need to.

I brought a table calendar to my work place, and on it is my task schedule which I set to myself. I believe this is going to be helpful. Other than that, Canon's calendar quality is either too good/too bad I couldn't write on it. ): but the material is good, and yes, so are the photos on it. Glad I took it when I visit Canon's service a month or two ago. Oh, it's in my home right now.

I only develop the habit of using table calendar after Siew Yen once commented she can't bear to throw her table calendar away because it helps her keep track of her past events.

Should I just study at SIM because if I did, I have the money to travel travel travel. okay, I'm just saying. heh, my aim is still ANU la, so far. LOL , SO FAR.

So long since I last met Peiyu already! The last time was like last year during the loreal sales if I didn't remember wrongly.

Anyway! met Peiyu, who was close to close to 30 minutes at Lakeside before we head of to Orchard! urghhh, I almost couldn't place my finger on where to stop because Orchard seems pretty unfamiliar to me right now, and also, we didn't know where on earth in Orchard do we exactly want to stop at heh.

So in the end, we alighted at Orchard, and took the train back to Dhoby Ghaut to have lunch at Just Acia. Even Just Acia looks unfamiliar to me! He he, ordered something different finally because the spicy chicken set which I always had is $0.30 expensive than before. and uhm, $6.90 and $7.20, it looks so different even though it's just a $0.30 difference! xD plus, the new additional dishes looks tempting too!

Peiyu ordered Chicken Teriyaki Spagetti while me, still reminiscing the Hot Spring Ramen in Taipei Beitou, ordered Chicken Ramen, at only $6.90. Damn, the Hot Spring Ramen is making me addictive to everything which has "Ramen" in it!

the chicken is gooooooood! after finishing our food, we stayed on to drink and have ice cream while chatting~ and also taking photos using my 50mm F1.8 because it's so convenient to bring it around! not to mention, the photos taken are pretty good, but not that sharp, but you know, still good! xD
and then Peiyu said something I don't like to listen, and I said "the world is peaceful when you shut your mouth" he he he, as quoted from the NTU professor LOL.

At about 5pm, the waitress came to us and asked us to settle our bill first (we reached at 2 plus), which I did, and then we stayed for another 30 minutes or so before we left cos I think it's pretty obvious the waitress is hinting us to leave earlier on. xD after all, we stayed close to 3 hours and they have a business to run! but it was so good, sitting down together chatting and having nothing to worry about other than the fact that Saturday is going to end soon. heh, hate working! ):
After leaving Just Acia, we just walked from Dhoby Ghaut to Orchard station, halfway where we went to *Scape flea market, where omg, I splurge on another pair of platform shoes -.- hehe, I can't resist the temptation of good cheap stuff! Other than that, didn't buy anything because it was so crowd and so dark. so dark how to see! :p
Then then then we walked further down to Ion, walked walked walked and walked and only left at 8.30pm, then to Jurong Point because there's this shop called 记得吃 which sells 绵绵冰, heard from ShiYun & Lee Woon that it's similiar to the 绵绵冰 we had in Shilin in Taiwan!

the 绵绵冰 I ordered and shared with Peiyu, Mango flavour. awesome but not as awesome as the one in Shihlin but still awesome! xD

:D :D :D satisfied me! no no no, no photoshop done to my face. the power of foundation & egg mask lol hahaha! after finishing our food, we went to the video shop at Level 3, where we spend really a long time just discussing about what dramas is nice & what's not. heh! then to Jurong Point B1 and sitting down on the bench just outside the Singtel shop, lol, talking about the egg mask and a lot more! xD afterwhich we went to NTUC because I need to buy cotton and also, to show Pei Yu the flour I used!

After finishing the trip in NTUC, we sat outside NTUC and took photos together because over this few years, the photos we took together is getting lesser and lesser, like uhm, the resources Earth had lor.

it was already 11 plus by the time we part and head home.

the high platform shoes I brought at the flea market for only $13. originally it was $15 but I used my bargain skill which is apparently pretty useful!

working is boring and depressing so far since it's only the 2nd day. Every job of mine started out like that, even Motorola, which I took 2 months plus to adjust and then started to enjoy! For the video store, I took close to 4 months to adjust and 8 months to start to enjoy. So yes, I just have to bear with the beginning and everything will turn out good.

argh, I hope I won't fall into the state of laziness soon because I need the money desperately to study overseas. ANU ANU ANU. now I've decided to go only 5 years later, because 2 years is way too impossible given my current pay, 3 years is close to impossible, 4 years is my target, but 5 years is definitely enough for me to save up the money.

oh! results are out! B+ like almost everyone! but it doesn't seem to pull my overall GPA. ):

食尚晚家 - 样样吃，天天迟 conclusion!

Looking at the photos taken during the Taiwan trip makes me miss Taiwan a lot. Although the photos I took this time round aren't ideal, but they are enough to get me wishing that I'm still in Taiwan, still over there, at that instant moment doing what the photo has captured.

I miss the food the most, my 园山凉面，市林绵绵冰，长形波霸可可奶茶，北投温泉拉面，鸡扒。

The place I've missed most would have to be Shihlin, where I almost successfully steal a hat from one of the illegal stall holder who had to run away because the police is arriving. Where I regretted not getting a bag for myself at only SGD$12. Where I ate and got addicted to 绵绵冰, and tried my first (hopefully not my last)爱玉。Where we almost missed the last train and where I walked for hours non-stop on my newly brought platform gladiator wedges.

The place I would definitely want to visit again would have to be Yang Ming Shan, which I didn't managed to finish all the must-visit spots there even though we went there twice because the first time was a flop with the aid of the weather. The second time was not so bad, the weather was pretty cold but I survived despite wearing shorts which is pretty translucent cos Lee Woon said she can see Spongebox Squarepants heh.

And the place I enjoyed the most would have to be NTU & Beitou. NTU is so relaxing, and the few hours spent there feels like just a short while. Like living in a stress-less place, like living in Meteor Garden haha. And Beitou, another stress-less place, roaming the town without any location in mind, taking our own sweet time exploring the super market and getting groceries from there like their instant noodles, going for their hot spring, and trying hot spring for the 2nd time (with the first when I was 9 in Korea) without clothes, heh, like an animal lol.

This trip wouldn't have been so good without my friends, who gave in to me a lot I must say and who didn't blame me for so many mistakes I've made.

Day 7 of Taiwan Trip - Shih Lin Night Market

Woke up close to afternoon once again :p the weather today was very warm, it's so totally felt like we were in Singapore. love such weather. :D cos I get to wear tank tops and shorts and stockings! ^^ but not to Lee Woon, who prefer the cold weather haha.

but I didn't expect the weather today to be so warm, so I worn two layers of stockings, one thick and one sheer stockings, and shirt, only to realise it was so hot after I stepped out of the hotel, so after reaching the Beitou museum, I immediately went to the toilet and took off the thick stockings but cos I didn't bring another set of clothes, I had to wear my shirt for the day. inside the Beitou Hot Spring museum..

tried an most daring act in my life today and eh, as it is only for my own collection, i shouldn't show it here. courage courage courage. ^^ after finish touring the museum, we set off to the Thermal Valley and also Beitou Ramen family resturant to have a try of the famous Ramen! :D

it was so hot, a ice cream would be perfect! :D the little boy below is cuter than he seems in this photo i swear! okay lor, blame my poor photography skill la. ;( he he he, I asked the little boy's mum if I can take a photo of him, and his mum went "Huh? what's there to take?" hahaha, but she allowed me to take a photo of him la. ^^

and within minutes, we reached and was greeted by the long queue! there were at least 30 people in the queue. We decided to queue anyway because we are here already~ :)

after waiting for quite some time, it was finally our turn! :) luckily the restaurant was air conditioned, if not.. o.m.g

the toufu which tastes really good!! I had such a hard time controlling myself to stop digging continuously because we were sharing the toufu. if we had toufu individually, i think i would have finished it in no time!

this ramen tasted the best to me, although both Lee Woon and Shiyun agreed that there's isn't really anything special about this ramen, but but but, it was so delicious to me I actually got hooked to ramen after trying this!

yummy yummy yummy x infinity! :D after finishing our lunch, there was this bubble tea concept store beside the ramen store and it look so peaceful i would love to spend some time there, but the buble tea were so expensive it wouldn't be worth.

so we continued to walk to the thermal valley...



he he, me acting like a old school student. :D the two bags on the left belongs to me! one from the supermarket last night, and the another from NP Open House LOL! the water from the waterfall were hot water which is 100 degree Celsius. after we reached the thermal valley, the first comment we gave was "wahhhh so hot!!!". like really, crazily hot. ><  the water were boiling water.. we joked about buying an egg and then cooking using the water and we will get our own DIY hot spring egg for close to free LOL hahaha.

we took the photos below with much difficulties because it was so hot and we had to act like "oh, it's so cool!" LOLLL

after ending the trip to Thermal Valley, we saw a bubble tea shop again just at the foot of the valley and we brought it without much thought because we need something cold! had chocolate bubble tea again, but it wasn't really nice. :/ then we walked to the MRT station and took a train back to Taipei Main Station, and returned to our hotel to place our things down.

After placing our things down, we went off to Shih Lin Night Market! :D

this store was rather famous online too! I auctally brought online from them when I was just 17 (2007) hahaha. I remember wearing them to Far East with Peiyu when I just brought them. :D brought top for my mum in this shop this time round!

it's been so long since I last tried this! the last time was when I was 8 years old in Paris Ris Fish pond, heh, an excursion organized by the student care centre I attended. after that, we need the loo, so we went to the shopping mall acroos the road and LOL, i mistaken the directions given by the staff of the shopping mall. -.- hehehe.  anyway, after we return to ShihLin, we brought JIPA again! :D :D this JIPA we brought this time round tastes good!!! thumbs up!!!

and then we saw a man selling off the newly borne puppies. 3 weeks only.. I remember one should be sausage dog, but the another one, i couldn't remember. ):

after that, we walked on and on and on and eventually we decided to have a short break in Starbucks, again, across the another street of the another end of Shih Lin. After the short break, we chiong again, and coincidentally chanced upon the famous 辛發亭冰品店 . We queue up for it, and heng-fully, the queue moved fast. :D didn't see any chocolate related Mian Mian Bing, so tried Strawberry and honey aloe. I prefer the strawberry one. tastes sweeter ^^. it was so good I actually hunt for something similar in SG, which is.. the store JIDECHI. :D well, although the ice wasn't as soft as the one in Shilin, but it was comparable! ^^

we continued walking and only left the place at 12mn. hehe, all the stores were going to close by then, but we managed to da bao the smelly toufu. ^^

saw this cute statue and i knew i had to take with it! :D then then then, we actually got lost, so we asked the staff in one of their convenience shop who directed us to the nearest station at then. we had to walk really fast because we might miss the last train, which, phew, heng-fully, we didn't! :D after reaching Taipei Main station, we sat by the stairs of the station and ate our smelly toufu, hmmm, it does stink, but it wasn't really nice. :/ oh well!

then we got back to our hotel and LOL, watched the HiPlay (or was it another name?) which couldn't be found in SG. heeeeee hahaha. koreans are never this funny before! :p

Day 6 of Taiwan Trip - Beitou!

heeee, finally done with editing the photos for Day 6. Not much photos auctally.. We had to change hotel again today! Luckily for us, the staff in City Inn allowed us to leave our luggage with them for one night so we get to travel to Beitou with nothing much in our hand other than the necessary clothing and bathing set. We were on the train heading towards Beitou when we saw this shop that screams "Buffet buffet". he he, and then the three of us were so tempted we decided to get off at that station (i forgotten the station's name already though :| ) and we had buffet for lunch! well... price wise, it's considered pretty expensive, around $20 if i didn't remember wrongly, and the varieties weren't as much as initially thought? but still, worth it because I had a try at pig blood! :p and this reminds me i might have actually ate pig blood before because it was so familiar to me, the looks but maybe not the taste. it tastes just like toufu, definitely not as nice as how i heard it! ps: after I got back to SG, i asked my parents and they confirm with me I ate pig blood before, when I was really really really young.

saw the metal hole right in the center, behind my specs? heh, that was the rubbish bin, and the three of us agree it's a very innovative rubbish bin, and is extremely useful, especially to lee woon, who always anyhow throw her tissue around. :D

after finishing the buffet, we continued with our journey again to Beitou!

traffic light outside the buffet restaurant. :D so, we took train all the way to Beitou, and then changed train to get to Xin Beitou, which is only a 1 stop service.. it's like alighting at Tenah Merah and then stopping at Changi Airport (only difference is there's 2 stops - Singapore Expo and Changi Airport)

the XinBeitou train was really.. well decorated! even the interior was like WOW WOW WOW, even had a LCD television which shows the same old video over and over again. oh! and even the seats were unique, but i didn't take a photo of it..

reached XinBeitou!  firstly, we had to find our hotel first!

found our hotel, which is actually right in the center of the photo. :D looks grand! ^^and apparently, the staffs kept calling me but because my hand-phone was in the no-battery status (forgotten to bring charger to TW -.-) they couldn't reach me.

the water were not your ordinary water, they were minerals that runs directly from the mountain top. :D spring water!

so after going into the hotel, we were notified that our hotel room were taken up by someone else, so they had to clear our room first before we can use it.  we were asked to have a seat at the counter level, and it was at then when i had a stomachache and had to run for the toilet.  Without much thoughts, I dashed for the toilet once I reached the first level and it was only after I finished unloading everything in my stomach that I realised the toilet flush wasn't working AT ALL. -.-  Just when I was still worrying what to do.. Lee Woon knocked on the door and informed me the toilet flush wasn't working. I was like oh dear, shit! and the toilet was so smelly and the water level in the toilet bowl was like err.. :/ :/ left without choice, I opened the door and I was so paiseh!! the lady staff looked at me in disbelief, oops. >< then she immediately led us to our room, after I made an explanation and apology.  I related that to my colleague in Rida after I returned to SG and my colleague was like "it wasn't your fault what, they should have left a sign in front of the door or something"

the walkway to our room! we rotted in our room for a very long time before we went out to soak our leg in the hot spring. Didn't bring my DSLR out because I was afraid of all the negative possibilities that might come true.  photos taken using Lee Woon's phone.

after soaking we went to walk around the town. :) had chocolate bubble tea again! :D :D initally wanted to try 波霸 but it was all out of stock, so I changed it to the long shape one. LOL LOL LOL, which i name it as the 长型波霸。:p shouldn't elaborate more he he.

he he, 长型波霸. we also had a try at the scratch card. Saw this lady beside us who actually won! but we had no luck. >< the card which we were playing has two set of numbers, and to win, the first set of numbers (on the left) had to bigger than the second set of number. (on the right)

brought my handphone charger too, which I didn't take a photo of. we wanted to shop the supermarket too but decided to do so after we finished the hot spring which will be closing by 10pm. getting ready for the hot spring! :D

the hot spring water was 45 degree and I had much difficulties getting down. Prior to getting down to the water, I took 5 minutes to adjust to what I'm seeing, then I took another 15 minutes to deal with the taking off of all clothes because I was so nervous and surprised by what I saw, I can't stop giggling. And then I took another 15 minutes to adjust to the temperature of the water which made me dizzy shortly after I managed to get myself soaked in it. Shiyun took a while more than me to adjust to the temperature and the environment while Lee Woon took forever to adjust to both, in the end, she decided to soak herself in the cold spring, which I couldn't tahan, it's so cold! :p
after finishing the hot spring, we tried on the work out machine (ahem, just like what you see in the gym, machines not toys please hahahaha) and then we went back to our room to bath. while Shiyun was bathing, I was acutally snatching the ground mattress with Lee Woon, LOL, heh, force her to sleep on the bed. :P after bathing, we went out to the supermarket and shop till 1am i think, ): totally forgotten about the super moon!! while walking back to the hotel, I brought 2 sandwiches from the old man who is still selling sandwiches at this wee hours, and i brought them and fed a dog which looks hungry. I know it looks damn bad, i mean, buying bread from an old man and then feeding the dog with the bread right in front of him. another guy stopped me because the dog had an owner, so i can save the bread, which I did. and then while passing by the garden, I saw this old lady who was picking up trashes and surrounding her were stray dogs, so I approached her and asked her to distribute the breads to the dogs, which she didn't, as she hadn't eaten yet, so she kept the bread for herself. :)
with that, we continued our way back to the hotel. after we got back to our hotel, we drank the alcoholic drinks we brought, quite tasty! :D :D and then off to bed we went! :D

Day 5 of Taiwan Trip - Flora Exhibition

Hee hee, moved hotel to City Inn Hotel today and went to the Flora Exhibtion which I have been demanding to go ever since I saw it on the news and I didn't regret demanding to go there because I love the time there, well, perhaps not all of it, but most of it. :)

we woke up really late again (okay la, me again lor hehe) and we reached Yuanshan stop only in the afternoon, and we had a simple lunch at a small shop which is fabulous. yes, I had a really really good lunch there, which I'm still missing now.. the Yuanshan Cold Noodles.

I didn't expect it to be that good, so I didn't even bother taking a photo of it, man, I totally regretted ok!! I didn't really want to lunch there initially because it looks so unappetizing, but phew, heng I didn't make any comments this time round and just went ahead to having lunch inside there with ShiYun and Lee Woon, if I made any comments, I believe we might not have a chance to eat this and damnnnn wouldn't this be a waste?!?!?!

Our lunch costs us NT 99 individually, and other than the cold noodles itself, it also includes sausage (super awesome also!!) and a cup of apple vinegar drink (quite gross actually, but it is so damn good in aiding our digestion that Lee Woon and I had to make a run for a toilet when we were inside the exhibition)

we went to the food fair within the Flora Exhibition premise and I brought eggs tarts and chocolate milk tea! :D :D afterwhich we went to grab a seat and enjoy our time there. :) really love the time spent there. ^^

saw this little boy trying to walk and without much thought, I went up to his grandfather and ask if I can take a photo of him, the old man agreed without hesitation and even help me. :>

we name this little boy as 忧郁王子.

the best part was he change his expression almost instantly. when his parents ask him to look into the camera, he smile like awww, then when the photo is taken, he immediately frown. HAHAHA.

then when he leaves he actually diao me despite me acting like his age lorand desperately saying HI HELLO, hard to describe the whole scenario but that leaves us laughing and laughing for a few minutes and we couldn't stop laughing every time we were talking of him!

after finishing the drink, I were still really reluctant to leave the place! but ): we had to, and we head off to the next point in the exhibition.

forgotten what are those countries already he he. Then we proceed to the next stop and rest for a while and the rain stopped whilst resting. ^^ not much photos taken after that because it is already dark time.

we proceed further down and it started drizzling and dark too, so we went back to the main place where we can catch a train. we went to have dinner in the food fair and it was good, but no photos. ):

after dinner, we went to queue up for a tour guide trip in this unqiue building which is build using bottles. looks really awesome but inside is pretty boring he he.

so, we ended the flora exhibtion trip and had chicken chop again at the Taipei MRT Main station! doesn't taste as good as the ones we had the previous days which we brought just right beside See You Hotel.

Slept really late today again. LOL, on facebook again. -.- he he he. heading off to beitou tomorrow and yes, we have to switch hotels tomorrow again LOL!

食尚晚家 - 样样吃，天天迟 Day 4!

Wooo, felt so damn proud of myself for finishing editing of Day 4 within like 6 hours? heh, I have to really hurry because my memories are fading and eh, I wanna use my weekends for photoshoots instead of staying at home struggling with the editing of photos. ): and I wanna upload entries of the more recent events!
Day 4 of our trip, we went to NTU! LOL National Taiwan University not Nanyang Technology University xD
we woke up late again, lol, okay la, I woke up late cos I turned in late and missed the breakfast again. Tried to help ShiYun draw eyeliner which failed epic-ily but seems okay to me la, and then we just went out of the hotel like this, because I realised there's no time left LOL.
we took train to Gongguang station and alight, just within 5 minutes, we reached NTU already! :D
I totally enjoyed the time there, feels like it's a stress-less place (like i said, looks like) though pretty much run down. ): wasn't like what i expected, LOL, I was expecting scenery I saw in Autumn Concerto but no no no, not at all. meteor garden yes, we did see scenes in Meteor Garden heee.

just a few minutes after we reached the university and while waiting for our turn to get our waffles.

the waffles we had, I had honey spread, not really very nice. quite weird LOL.so we continued walking.

saw the board at the right hand side >>> ? lol, we were laughing so badly at the people on the board.there were photos of everyone in the course, from Year 1, Year 2, Year 3 research, and blah blah blah. The people in first year looks okay, hair and everything is okay.The Year twos looks pretty chui.then as the rank gets higher, the people looks more and more tired and the hair also get lesser and lesser. the best thing? the people get lesser and lesser LOL.

it was like pretty cold that day but urgh, I wanted to take a photo of me without jacket, like oh hey hey hey it's summer~ but anyway, the photos looks damn weird, and it was really cold i need my jacket so i didn't take any more photos. the above was actually overexposed pretty badly but I decided to play around with it, and the effects, hehe I quite like it. :D and then there were classes just opposite of us! I forgotten about that until Lee Woon told me the people must be looking at us because of what we were doing! LOL

like a nerd only LOL.

the below scene is exactly like meteor garden! we risked our lives for this because we had to take a fast shoot, and run back to the roadside because there are cars on the main road!

their main transport mode in the school is by bike, I even asked a student if we can rent the bikes from the school LOL. I'm really tempted to act like a student in the school, cycling like oh I'm also a student ha ha ha, plus cycling makes me happy! then we came to this garden of NTU and saw this goose! :p

saw this cute young girl in NTU feeding the doves in the garden which surround her because she got fooood! then we walked a little further and out of the school to get to our next destination - SOGO departmental store.

took a photo at the main gate, and left the school, heng a old lady directed us to the mrt station. ha ha, Lee Woon and I were so damn tired we couldn't walk fast while Shi Yun walked very in front of us with the old lady with a lot of conversations LOL. sat all the way to Zhong Xiao Xin Shen Station (LOL, we alighted at the wrong stop ZhongXiao FuXin Station because it's so alike!) and Shiyun remembered the mrt stations in this way : 负心汉重获新生 hahahaha. so we reached and went to Din Tai Fung for dinner! it was full and we were given the menu while waiting for our turn. The food wasn't that nice, but according to ShiYun, the food there is the best out of the outlets in Singapore she tasted before but it still wasn't good.

had to try the Xiao Long Bao in Din Tai Fung! this was what that make Shiyun comment that it was the best considering the other outlets she tried in SG but still...

eh, we felt so cheated at this. it was horrible, like really horrible!! then I asked for a feedform wanting to comment this was horrible but in the end i didn't, lol, a bit wth if i did so. plus, their service is good! :)

then we continued walking in search of the hello kitty shop, we managed to find it! but well, just outside the store, we saw this dog which was like damn cute and I ask the owner if I can carry him or not, which I didn't because he was so heavy i was afraid I will hurt him or something. ): hehe, so I keep touching him. lol, wait touch is too brief, caress him ahha!

then we went to the Hello Kitty shop! no photos because all the photos damn ugly. the shop decoration is so dim feel more like sleeping than anything else. and we actually had to spend NT900 there in order to sit in the resturant! we didn't know that, and we happily ordered only 1 cake and the waitress told us we had to spend a minimum of NT900, which we didn't, so we just da pao the cake from SOGO (they had two outlet, their main branch just around SOGO and another outlet (like prima deli in JP like that) in SOGO departmental store itself) and went back to the hotel to eat it! we shopped in Taipei Main station (ahah, there's a lot of stores at the mrt station!) and I wanted to get a miniature alochol bottle for my dad and sudoku toilet papers so that I can use it when I'm bored in the toilet LOLLLLL. After that, we return to our hotel and got out again to massage our legs because my leg chui max. I have never never never had my legs this pain before that I had to spend $20 for the massage. ): my moneyyy. and it wasn't really good, like, my foot still hurts! but oh well, better than nothing! :)

Heee Day 3 of Taiwan Trip!

our only destination today is XiMenDing! not many photos today, since it's like, there's only one place and there's nothing much to take photo of! It's like shopping in Bugis, no matter where you took the photos, they look all the same, shops after shops, store after store. hee heee, okay la, my own definition lor, actually can take photos of how each individual stores look like, but I didn't. I'm thinking of implementing a idea to place all my accessories after I seen how a store has done so.

Not smart enough like them to think of such inexpensive and good idea, ha ha, I'm good at thinking of impractical stuff only LOL, and they don't come cheap too.

Let me start from the beginning (the new font Blogger is providing is really tempting me to write as long as possible so pardon me for my constant nagging hee hee). Sleep exceptionally well last night because I was so tired, i think within 20 minutes I'm dead to the world already. But still, I can't wake up LOL. initially wanted to go for the free breakfast again, but urgh urgh urgh urgh, got so tired gave it up and we head to Morita for breakfast and lunch!

We spend NT$315 (might have remembered wrongly, lazy to walk to my room right now and verify with the receipt. oh yes, I kept almost all receipts for the trip LOL) individually and for the NT315, we get to order

a main dish (choose from a variety of spaghetti), free flow of drinks, soups and cold dishes and the best free item I like? CAKE, cake as in singular, as in ONE. well, one is better than nothing! :D

the restaurant is so well decorated and so are the waitresses. Oops, sounds pretty weird that the waitresses are so well decorated LOL, i mean well groomed hee heee.

Early in the morning at 11am~ we got the window seats, which means we get to look at the streets while eating. :) sorry, i like people looking LOL.

the free flow available, fruits, cold dishes and drinks. the soup is in another table just behind this row of food. I like one of their cold dishes - which is noodles together with a lot of sauces. I forgotten the sauces, since I chose them by colour not by name LOL LOL LOL. and why why why, I picked a lot of vegetables to eat too!

tsk tsk, the influence of Motorola over me. like normally, I wouldn't pick vegetables at all, but not anymore after I got into Motorola and spend close to 1/2 year with my veggie lovers colleagues, who forced/ coerced/ cheat/ persuade/ lie/ nag to get me to eat vegetables. :P good influence cos I'm starting to like vegetables. :D :D

our cakes, the one just right in front is mine. pretty obvious lor, LOLLLLL, as in I take the photo, so obviously the cake nearest to the camera = nearest to me = mine.

this cake is better-than-awesome but close-to-marvelous. Whatever la, i enjoyed this piece of delightful delicious cake. wth, I'm forcing myself to come up with every single positive terms to describe what that contribute to my weight.

after we finished everything and while waiting for Shiyun to finish her business, I requested for a feedback form from the waitress (and I speak in a pretty serious tone hahahaha!)..

what I wrote:

LOLLL! there's 3 or 4 waitresses, and all so pretty, maybe not that pretty, but well decorated. LOL well decorated again, ha ha ha ha.

And there's this waitress who was wearing this glasses with thick frame (which I'm very interested in the glasses), I actually praised her and her glasses when I was settling bill at the counter and she was serving me.

what, normally I will just keep the opinions to myself lor, but this trip, I think I really approach a lot of people, 男女老少统统不放过 . xD

After Shiyun came out, it was my turn, which I took really long time to complete my business LOL. good business to good health heee heee!

anyway anyway, after we are all done with our business, socialisng, people looking blah blah blah, we head off to XiMenDing and we reached at 2pm! it's just a stop from Taipei Main Station (where we are located at). So board boom boom stop reached!

After stepping out of Xi Men Ding station (which is underground fyi), we were like WHHEEEHEE, and within 1 minutes "take photo take photo" LOL LOL LOL.

oh, above's the top I got for $25 from Wu Fen Pu last night! or is it $30.. lol, lazy to verify with my previous blog entry.

the salesperson told me it's normal for the fur to drop, as it will stop after a while, either she was talking about the wrong jacket, or that she was just plainly lying to me, because the fur keep dropping like nobody's bussiness.

-.- okay fine, I kind of expected that ha ha, less than $30, I couldn't expect a really top quality jacket. at least it keeps me warm and it looks nice too. :D

saw the KFC in the above photo? that's the shop we visited the most during the whole day, for toilet bussiness! LOL. "shit I need the toilet, where's the nearest toilet?" "KFC", out of 10 question 9 answers will be that.

lol, I remember during my first year in poly, I thought <3 is just another icon for a smile, and then i used that when I was replying to one of the fencing guys (the msg was something like "sorry I couldn't make it today, but enjoy k! <3" ), and i didn't know that until i quit fencing and one of my friends told me that. still feel pretty paiseh LOL ha ha ha. good old loud days.

2 anna sui inspired comb (NT10/20, one for me one for Peiyu cos she always comb her hair one! And I can't buy edible items for her because I have no idea when we will be meeting, like the china trip, brought biscuits for her but in the end I gorged all up because it's going to expire soon if left untouched)

sweets (to be distributed because I have no idea who I might be meeting after I return to SG)

glasses with thick frames (NT150 <--the cheapest & nicest i can find in XiMending)

Double Eyelid paste (NT60, For my sister, who in the end told me she tried it before and it doesn't work)

it's auctally only 6:30pm (just checked photo data) but it looks like it's already 8pm.

interesting shop we went to! there's this entrance (which I didn't take a photo due to space constrait) to this little room, and the window is..

a photo frame! smart, it so totally look like I'm in a photo but it isn't. :D like the above 2 photos a lot too! xD

anyway, so we walked till 7pm as we had a reservation in the toilet.......... theme restaurant. :D we managed to got there after asking several passer-by for directions. :)

oh ya! I like taiwan restaurant store concept. To get to the resturant, it is necessary to climb stairs. thought I seriously seriously hate climbing stairs (but after Alex's gf told me that climbing stairs is good for our legs than climbing down stairs) I started un-disliking stairs (but not to the extent of liking).

The first storey is always just decoration.. or nothing, but the stairs area will definitely have some form of decoration.

LOL, like this photo a lot! haha. :D the food wasnt that good and it was a lot a lot a lot, so expectedly, couldn't finish it. but oh ya! like China, their rice is pearl rice most of the time, which is totally to my liking! LOL, i finished up the rice but not the meat and veggie because they weren't very nice to begin with..

sigh, now I miss HangZhou already. ): Whenever I see this photo, i will be reminded of HangZhou.

and I wanted to buy the toilet bowl home auctally but it's like SG$80 to $90, so I called my parents immediately to see if the price varies a lot, which yes it does and most importantly, my home had an extra set which is unused, so no point getting it!

after finishing our dinner, we continue walking in Xi Men Ding until there's really really nothing to shop and we planned to return to our hotel earlier but in the end, we spend a lot of time at the underground station of Taipei Main Station shopping again LOL. In the very end, we reach our hotel at like 11pm, prepare blah blah 12 plus again, and then I used the internet and like usual, got hooked to it and can't stop once I start!

Day 2 of Taiwan trip! hee, Shiyun and I had a hard time waking up (lee woon woke up first!) because Shiyun kept using the toilet, and I can't sleep due to noise pollution! LOLLLLLL heh. I keep lying on the bed, always on the "about to be dozing off" mode until I don't know what time before I really finally doze off and filtered out every noise that I might have hear.

I think we woke up at 8? heh, couldn't remember the time we woke up already but we managed to go for the breakfast at KFC! eh, the first and only time we managed to have breakfast in Taiwan. the other days we woke up too late/no breakfast were provided.

after breakfast, we walked to the bus stop just behind the Taipei Main Station to take bus 260, walk for about 10 minutes. (for the first time, Google map info was correct)

the bus stops is pretty obvious, and the bus frequency is short! :D

the bus ticket. looks like a temple lot to me though :p speaking of which, I haven't went to the temple yet this year for a lot! ): heeheee, i'm pretty addicted to drawing lots in temple.

interior of the bus we took to Yang Ming Shan. after a while, I can't help but doze off because the bus was comfortable to sleep in and cos of lack of sleep last night :p so we sat all the way to the end of the station and when we got out, it was soooo cold and it's drizzing. LOL the first thing we did was to buy raincoat and I had to buy one because i can't afford to let the rain drop touch my lens!

lol i don't think Lee Woon will want her face to be shown here, so... :pthe wind was very strong, and everything there's a breeze we will go brrrrrr. anyway, we were waiting for this bus 108 which will takes us up to Yang Ming Shan.(the previous bus we took from Taipei Main Station only reaches the bottom of Yang Ming Shan)
After the bus arrived and we got onto it, I didn't took off my raincoat, lol, too troublesome to do so. :p

the view outside, this wasn't that misty as compared to the view when the bus went even higher up the mountain.

so, we alighted here, yes, the first stop and we alight because everyone alight, the very silly decision I've made.

it was drizzling and the wind was stronger than it is before we got onto the bus. I was totally chui because I was wearing only a uhm 3/4 pants? chui max! that was the longest bottom i bought for the trip, i didn't expect it to be that cold!

I was like "please, how cold can Taiwan be. Last year in Perth I survived in shorts, taiwan HEH!" -.- totally regret already lol.
anyway, since we alighted, we decided to walk around briefly. briefly yes, we did. lol, we walked to the toilet, and then we buai tahan already, so we went back to the bus stop and waited for the bus.  the toilet which I couldn't even stand close to it because it smells!

lol, my lens kind of stand out because I didn't have the time to even put in my bag. -.-

okay, the scene of waiting in the bus stop freezing sounds familiar to me now, lol, especially when I'm writing right now, cos I've experienced it before last year in Perth too. chui max.  shivering and shivering, and wishing that the damn wind would just stop going "hoo hoo hoo hoo"OLD HOW TO SMILE!!!!
anyway, the bus came and we board it, had no seats. ): so we had to stand on it and bear with the turning of the bus. like standing up in a roller coaster ride that exciting and giddy lor.

anyway, we took one full round around Yang Ming Shan because bus 108 only drives in a direction. and it was so misty outside we couldn't see anything.  heee, quite exciting auctally, now to think of it (especially when I returned home safety he he) especially when the bus was driving really fast, and then there's a oncoming car which we can see only when it's like less than 100m towards us. or when the bus is turning and beside the bus is a very steep slope.  at that point of time, scary > exciting, now to think of it exciting > scary.
so after we returned to the bottom of Yang Ming Shan, we board the bus 260 and slept a while before we alighted for Jiantan MRT Station instead of Taipei Main Station where we board the bus.

brought their IC token, which is in the shape of a coin, the way it works: Entering the station : tap the coin against the "entry" gate like how our ezlink works.Leaving the station: drop the coin in the drop box located at the "exit" gate.i think this trip costs us NT$20 as we are traveling to City Hall station for Taipei 101!

what i wear for that day that make me go brrrr up in Yang Ming Shan.

lol the first time I saw this line name, I laughed and then realised it's not banana line but bannan line. typically mind of me to interpret the word before even reading it. but it really looks like "banana" line lor.

very very not easy to find a seat. I was expecting seats auctally, but nooo, i was so crowd, just like in Singapore. ): but if I were >65 (maybe i just need white hair + a lot of wrinkles hehe), I would have seats everywhere I go because they have the elderly seats for elderly and no one sits on it no matter how pack the train is, it's called the 博爱座. so, after quite a while (definitely not just a while) , we reached city hall and we walked to the shopping mall which is attached to the mrt station, just like S'pore City Hall station and Marina Square, and have our lunch there and explore there a little bit.

my childhood favourite! Peter Rabbit! so we walked around the shopping mall, and we couldn't find a place we really would like to have lunch at, so we decided to have lunch at this Chinese restaurant at the basement. not really really very fantastic, but their siew mai is OMG marvelous! and then their waitresses have really good service lol. I think they must be thinking we are some kind of food critices blogger or whatever LOL, cos before eating, we keep taking photos, and after we finish our dishes and is still waiting for the next dish,we keep taking down notes (okay la, actually we are counting how much the food is LOL)
or maybe they know we are from SG and we look like that type of customer who is willing to splurge on food. so they serve us like we are princess and then we will spend spend spend. :p

I had wanton mee, not very nice. but very hungry so i finished it all up. okay lor, quite obvious we are pretty hungry already.

i think this is the xiao long bao, not very nice also lol. then while eating, I keep telling Lee Woon "Be careful, no no no no, don't like that take, must use spoon also!! if not the soup will spill" blah blah blah hehehe.
after lunch, we went to Taipei 101 on foot! as we don't know the right direction to go, we trail the couple in front of us because I heard them say "Taipei 101" and decided to just follow behind them, but when we got out of the underground, we lost them and left with no choice, we had to ask directions, which we did, from this auntie who is working in a shoppng mall (the shopping mall is in between the underground and Taipei 101)
我：大姐，请问怎么去北京。。台北101? (lol, about to say beijing 101, the hair treatment centre LOL)
ahhahaa, yeaaa i called her DAJIE instead of auntie LOL LOL LOL. so she gave us direction and we walked towards the exit of the shopping mall, and wheee heee TAIPEI 101 was just in front of us! like whooo!

anyway, then as we were waiting for the traffic light to blink green, I saw the trees and were inspired to take a photo like the indian MV. -.- failed much.

hee, at the traffic light, I saw this couple, faster snap snap, lol. plus this image, heeeee, looks good lol! i tried to take the photos of the oncoming traffic and random snapshot of the drivers and etc, but all failed terribly! ):

heeeeee, then we finally crossed the traffic light and I saw those chess pieces, and heh, inspired to take photo of it!

then we went into Taipei 101 and brought the tickets! we should have gone for the flora exhibition first because with the ticket, we can get 20% or 10% off the tickets to taipei 101 observatory! ): NT400 is like SGD$20. but since we are here already, we decided to get it anyway because it's not worth it to come again the another time. sigh, and due to the weather, we couldn't go to the exterior of the observatory too. ):

and before we took the lift up (which took us to floor 99 within 30 sec) we had to take photo (like usual for tourist place). and then when we went to see the photo, the person really bullshit all the way. "Wah not bad, this photo manages to capture the three of you!" "very creative shot, one cover her eyes" -_______________-
tell me what is the use of your camera if it can't capture the three of us!? bullshit right? LOL. when he was telling that to us, we were like orh orh right right. then when we leave (without buying the photo of course), the first thing i got off my chest was "废话!" anyway, the view of the whole Taipei 101 wasn't amazing nor fantasizing because of he mist. ): like what i see in Shanghai last month, mist mist mist everywhere in the Orient Pearl.

according to shiyun, this is the gyro (should be gyro because it's what that keeps a airplane stable) which makes taipei 101 immure to earth quake.

that photo earlier was blurred, so i requested anothe one! hehe, okay la, just an excuse to hug this little babe again. :p

then we proceed down to another floor, the sales floor.

this is like a short path which will eventually led us to the shop where they will sell sovienir. didn't buy anything and then we went off! then on Level 1, we went to ask directions on how to go to WuFenPu, and then there's this sales assistant who asked Shiyun and me if we want to try the free eye masks, obviously we say yes, and she's smart, she say, she will tell us how to go Wu Fen Pu after we try the eye masks. no harm what, so okay, let's try. we tried and it was really good, and the sales assistance introudced us another product which Lee Woon & Shiyun was about to buy but in the end they didn't, because it wasn't the price they thought it was. With that, we took our free masks (LOL) and left to take the shuttle bus from Taipei 101 to City Hall interchange. the shuttle bus was crowd to the max, and there's this empty seat and no one wants to sit on it because it's for the elderly, but the thing is, there's no elderly in the bus! grrr, if I were nearer to the seat, i would have gone for it. so we reached the interchange and sat to 后山埤 (Hou Shan Pi) station, and then successfully reached WuFenPu without much difficulty. We reached at around 6pm and walked all the way to about 11pm. 5 hours, and we were just done with like 3 alleys?! mad lots of things to shop. I still can't believe I lost control of myself over there. I spent like NT $2000 just in that few hours! -.- leggings, jeggings (2 for $25, so cheap!!), suspender shorts ($7.50 LOL) , tee shirts ($10) , tank tops (lol, i brought 4 tank top, 2 dark blue, 1 black, 1 white, $20), winter coat ($25/$30), gladiator platform shoes ($12.50), i think that's about all? Heee hee. and that's about SGD$100 --> NT $2000.

pug pug pug! I would have mistaken this as french bulldog if my colleague in the video shop didnt pointed out to me that the dog in "Due Date" isn't a bulldog. LOL, and I was so damn scare it would drop out and come towards me even though I keep saying cute cute cute. LOL, just like what I always do in Ellin's house. Damn scare when brise always come dashing towards me when I'm about to enter her house. but hor, after a while, brise will be scare of me LOL.

my all time favourites - platform shoes! for this, I'm graceful I'm just 162cm, hehehe. I'm more than qualify to wear platform shoes he he!

our dinner were just.. chicken chop for that day! LOL, couldn't find a restaurant to have dinner at and no mood to find also because all we had in our mind is shop shop shop. poor lee woon! :p
and then we wanted to buy tickets for Saturday to travel to Alishan only to realise all tickets have been booked, so there's no way we can go there. ): luckily I haven't make any deposit for the hotel in Alishan if not ): ):
so we got back to the hotel and we kept searching for a ideal hotel, which we did, it's at Beitou! :)

I will say this is a overdue graduation trip for us.. lol, Primary School graduation trip I would say! ha ha ha.

Met Lee Woon & Shi Yun at Boon Lay station at 7:30 and then head off to Changi Airport Terminal 1, where we arrived 1 hour 15 minutes (or so) before the gate closes.

Did the necessary check in, rush rush rush, rush for breakfast, rush for departure, everything rush. LOL, and we thought we were late for the flight, that the flight alreadyt ook off. heh, hectic first day.

inside the MRT, heh, called this 四面楚歌 cos my luggage is surrounded by "walls".

queuingto do the check in of our luggage. My luggage was only 7kg, while their luggage were 14kg and 16kg. With that, we proceed to the departure hall and thinking we have a lot of time, we slowly took a stroll around..

then we rush off to the departure gate because we spent too much time in the toilet. -.- grab breakfast which I managed to finish while rushing to the gate.

up in the air! 5 hours later, we reached Hong Kong airport and we were all so irritated by this "请小心塔级” or something like that because I think we heard this every 20 seconds while on the uhm, elevator? Lol, and then over here, I was trying so hard to kick off my Singlish-Chinese and lol, Shiyun and Lee Woon got so irritated. As quoted from them " 不要再讲了。我很想打人 ! "
apparently, standard Chinese is really not easy lol lol lol! no "lor", "then hor" really is... impossible! plus the tone gets really weird!

upstairs is what we call the food paradise where we had Ajisen ramen and we shared one bowl of it. sad case! xD after finishing our Aijisen, we had to rush (yes yes, rush again!) for our next flight, which takes us to Taipei Taoyuan International Airport.

we reach 1 hour plus later at 5.30pm and the sun was already starting to set. damn sad, cos I was watching True Blood Season 3, and there were so many choices to choose from but urgh, 1 hour 30 minutes, don't even have the time to finish True Blood Season 3 epi 3. Okay la, actually I don't understand what the epi is all okay, cos it's been so long since I last watch the Season 2. xD after getting out of the airport, we went to buy bus ticket for bus 2061 which is available in the airport for 90NT (SGD$4.50) which will take us directly to Taipei Main Station, where our hotel is situated at. Speaking of which, I actually Google how we can get to our hotel, but apparently, the information Google gave is not very ideal. It's always better to open mouth and ask!

the bus we took and reached only about 1 hour plus later. It was already 7pm by the time we reached. And then we sort of got lost, and I refused to ask people, lol 自尊心太强, but heng Lee Woon asked, and we got to our hotel successfully. And initially, I planned to go Shihlin today, but in the end we canceled the plan and decided to take a walk around our area! :)

our hotel, where we sleep together on this small Queen Sized Bed together for the next 4 days in this hotel! After putting down our things, we went down for dinner, and to get SIM cards too!

this store is just opposite our hotel and lol, I had warm Chocolate Bubble Tea. can't resist chocolate drinks like totally! And the weather was chilly, so yesss, warm Chocolate Bubble Tea! And when we spoke, the ladies immediately asked us "Are you from Singapore/Malaysia" cos the tone we had betrays us. well well well. After getting our drinks, we went to buy our SIM cards from one of their main service provider outlet. NT350 for the SIM cards, which allows us to make international calls at NT17.50 per minute. After which, we went to look for food! Then then then, chui, Lee Woon got lost!

LOL, the area where we realised we lost Lee Woon! heng, we got smart and decided to call Lee Woon's house in SG, and because Lee Woon called home using the new SIM card, her sister had her phone number, we managed to get the number from her sis and called Lee Woon! in the end, she was at the traffic light, which is less than 100m away from us!
After meeting her, it was already 10 plus, and most of the restaurants near our area were closed, so we went to have Watami, which has a outlet in Singapore Ion, for dinner!

After work finished today at 10pm, I took the wrong bus home, walked back to bus stop, reached home late and bath because I felt so dirty, the video shop is so dustyyyy he he.

took only half an hour to bath (I had to rush because the bus had a time limit of 30 minutes to continue a journey!) and then ran out of home to catch a bus. Took Bus 242, which I didn't know had change it's route, and then shiok, alighted at another stop, ran back to the right stop, board 99 and finally reached Ellin's house! tiring!

By the time I got to Ellin's house, I got really hungry and the first thing I asked for was maggi mee instead of Vodka heeeee! Too hungry already after so much running. And then I started caressing Brise and Shaneeee, which I pronounced it as Shag. LOL

Then Bee Suan, Ellin, JingKai and I had random talks, I swear random because I was caught off-guard at some conversations and all I did was stunned. Well, whatever it is, heh, since it's clarified, hee hee, no point bringing it up.

Had some heart to heart talks too, and then I realized I wasn't the only one who feels that as the years goes by, our friends get lesser and lesser. I enjoyed the talk so much, sigh, I wish we don't have to go home, thought I was pretty much traumatized still. heh.

Like heyyyy I enjoyed a lot, but I was also traumatized and I wished I'm home so that I can have time alone to think all over and pick up the non-sense part. maybe not think, more like talk. lol.

well well well, whatever it is, heee, as proven, times cure everything.

Back to normal mode hehhhh. :D

When I was young, I envy people with a lot of friends, and I will tell myself "I will be someone like that, no rush now".

When I get older, I came in contact with a lot of people, but I couldn't open myself to them, and I will tell myself "It's okay, I'm not on the same frequency with them, I will find a lot of others who will understand me and I will still have a lot of friends"

Then I got older than just older, I lost contact with people who I shouldn't be, and I can't be bothered to contact them, and now I'm left with few friends.

It's my fault for the disability to overlook faults in people. I should properly learn to be more understanding.

This is funny, maybe it's the funeral, maybe it's because of the season, everything just doesn't feel right for the first time.

i need time.

I need time to do what I have asking myself to do, I want to process photos that I have taken over this past month. There are hundreds of photos and I don't have the energy/time to process them.

I need to get them developed by end of Feb before the Harvey Norman promotion expires! but before that, i need to have some time to do some post-processing!!!!!

Feb has been well.. busy. I spent first week in China, 2nd week trying so hard to finish editing the photos (still unfinished) and meeting for gatherings. 3rd week, which is this week, I'm out of home everyday to get some income for myself or running errands. ):

so busy (i know it's good) but I felt like I'm busy over nothing. :/

Meet up with my ex-colleagues again after returning from China! aww, i so so enjoyed the night today with them! felt reluctant to leave Lee Kwan's house at 7am. ):

whatever whatever. anyway, after work ended at 5pm, I went off to Faber Park City Square Mall to meet up with Lee Kwan, Chai Li, Ah Net & Zhang Xuan first.

Then we went off to NTUC to buy weeeeeheehehehe alocholic drinks and etc before we head off to Nanxiang Resturant to enjoy our buffet dinner on a promotional price whereas we get to order $160 worth of dishes!

smart Soon Ann, cos the tang bao was really hot and drinking from the straw is pretty hard for us. He devised a plan for us whereas he covered the tip of the straw after putting the straw in the tang bao so some soup is actually sucked into the straw, then he took the straw out and place it inside a spoon for us to drink. None of us thought of that!

I remember in Motorola, they say I always look like I'm communicating with my food before I eat them. I think Ah Net is starting to pick up the skill already. :D

And we gambled too, which, sadly, I auctally lose $$, but not so much cos Siew Lan (who joined us only at Lee Kwan's house) contributed a lot of money to us in the end. I wanna play the game again! well, with them!

So throughout the whole night till 7 in the morning, Lee Kwan jie, Sin Yao, Shu Zeng, Ah Net and me talked about everything related to married life. LOL, I related that to my parents. Cos apparently, Lee Kwan, Ah Net is facing the same problem as my mum used to many years back.

Last Day in Shanghai!

Last Day in China today. uhm, didn't went to that much places today, just the Beijing Tong Ren Tang and then to the largest souvenir shop and then to the airport.

heh, so cute! Brought 2 of such for Lee Woon and Shi Yun!we left at 1pm and head off to the airport.

got th admit hor, their books are really cheap, though I didn't get any in the end. xD

on SQ, I kept asking for maggi mee and finally got it!

the above shows how bumpy the landing is! uhhmmm, that's all. oh, when we were on our way home, we pass by city hall and it just suddenly strike me, Singapore is really incomparable to Shanghai. no matter how much Singapore is changing, it still can't beat Shanghai.

Day 5 in Shanghai!

It's the last 2nd day in China! We started off with going to XiHu (yesterday's night was just a part of it) and also touring of West Lake via boat.

after alighting from the boat at a point, we walked to Yue Fei's temple. heh, really changed a lot because the last time I came here with my family in 1997, the temple was really disgusting, there's spit and urine on the 4 status of the traitors who killed Yue Fei.because of the urine and spiting, the status material had to be changed umpteen times, and now, no one is allowed to spit and urine on it, but we can slap the status LOL.

after this, we head off for lunch at this buffet restaurant, where uhm, it wasn't very fantastic even though the varieties were massive.

the weather here wasn't exactly that cool, so I actually only wear one layer of jacket and i just hit the street. after the lunch, we took a long ride, close to 5 if I didn't remember wrongly, back to ShangHai because we have to leave from there tomorrow. had xiao long baos again! heh, i like the xiaolongbaos here, and it's cheap too, i think we ordered like 3 baskets of xiaolongbaos. and i couldn't remember how many i ate, i just remembered I ordered 3 times.

after the dinner, we went to New Shanghai, where it is really really very atas. the resutrants there were like more for the casucians. And the price? Not so cheap.

afterwhich we head off back to hotel, where it's freezing!

Day 4 in Shanghai

Hello!! Today's the 4th day of the trip already! heh, time really flies when you have nothing to worry about other than having to wake up on time. we went to the pearl farm in the morning and they show us how is pearl extracted. and even though my mum is really money-conscience at all times, she just couldn't help but be psycho by the sales person about the wonders of pearl powder, which she said I could use it. Initially, my mum wanted to get the masks, which is a crazy $10 per piece and well, i got to admit it was really awesome, but $10 is pretty hectic, and we didn't get that in the end, because $10 is like... heh.
we got the pearl powder though, which is like $30 per tin (i forgotten the price auctally) and it works out to be about 6 or 60 cents per gram. And we are using it carefully right now, not for consumption yet, we used it for facial purpose. and we are expecting it to last us for 5 years, that's when the powder expires.

after the pearl farm, we head off to Wuzheng's town (well, i don't exactly know what it is, so, yeah :/) where i like it pretty much. there are still families living there, and I thought there wasn't. tsk, imagine living there during the holidays, and having to endure all the noise and the lack of privacy. :/

the bridge where the girls should walk on the left, and the guys on the right. then make your wish, susposed to come true. so i wished for something simple, and it sort of came true already. :D

after the trip, we went to have lunch at somewhere which, well, i have no impression of oops. anyway, after lunch, we took bus for 3 or 5 hours to Hangzhou. argh, I was really in love with Hangzhou because they had almost everything I wanted. they had access to the free bike which could be found easily at those bike stops. And I had such thing for bikes you know. So when i heard of that, i actually visualize myself cycling around Hangzhou, going everywhere on the bike, stopping as and when I like to relax. We stopped at XiHu for sunset, which was awesomely breathtaking, and the crowds there were having their leisure breaks and were strolling around, no wonder Hangzhou was voted as the most relaxing city. I mean, compared to the other cities so far, Hangzhou was indeed the most relaxing city so far.

i stayed rather long watching them play and got sepearated from my parents, which made me thrilled yet scare at the same time hehe.

then it was getting darker and darker, which means I cant take portraits photos anymore because it's too dark should I increase my shutter speed, which well, is a must in night time.

after a short walk, we went for dinner at the restaurant nearby, which is really crazy filled with people, and then to the New World to watch performance which is better than what I expected! :) lastly, we went back to the hotel, which is small, but innovative, and it was at this hotel which make my sis, my mum and I crazy over this period drama 宫锁心玉, he he cheesy i know, but we just like it!

Day 3 in Shanghai!

3rd day in China, where we started the day off in Suzhou! We went to Han Shan Temple, which the famous Tang Bohu wrote a poem about this temple!

Heh, today is the day where i took a lot of photos which I personally like it a lot! :)

dad was paying for the tickets to ring the chimes for all 6 of us. each ticket is RMB$5, well, it's worth it, afterall it's not like SGD$5!

we spend close to an hour here (i guess?) before we head off to the next destination! photos after here is all taken while I'm on bus.

arriving at the most boring place I've ever been for this trip - Silk Factory. why boring? We spend close to 2 hours staring at the silk with nothing more than silk silk silk, price tag price tag price tag. no worms, no demonstrations, NOTHING.

photo above is taken when we are going to enter the factory, whereas photo below is after we left the factory and going for lunch. My mum were expecting their 苏州点心, which turned out to be peanuts and those snacks. I think they make it up. Cos when my mum asked the waitress where is the dimsum, there were snacks on our tables, and the waitress look and went "wait, let me ask". it's like if the peanuts and snacks were their dim sum, the waitress would have been able to point it out to us instead of saying "wait, let me ask". then she asked another waitress (Who is her superior or something), she was quick in reacting by telling us, "oh, the peanuts and those snacks were the dim sum". -____-and then the tour guide came in and say yes yes, that is their snacks. sneaky much right? their food were salty, which is common because they prefer salty food. well, i ate nothing more than the rice. their rice is really yummy!

after our meal, we went to Wuzheng Three Kingdom Place, where it's built to film the shows. heh, pretty enjoyed here with my mass spam of photos.

the poor guard who can't move/talk for hours, he was there from the time when we just arrived until the time when we leave. easy but boring job i would say.

after entering the place and finish our toilet breaks, we sat on the tram and travel to the centre of the place. photos below were taken while on the tram.

we alighted somewhere around here and tour the place in our leisure time.

with that, we got on the tram again (nope nope, not tram by horse) to get to the riverside and sit on a ferry to get a hang of how it feels to be in Taihu on boat.

it was just for a while and it feels scary, like there's no end to it, and we are entering into another dimension or something! after that, we head off to the last activity in the place, which is the three kingdom act, where they used real horses.

after the show, it's time for us to leave for a leisure time in Li Hu, a awesome place which makes me really tempted to visit this place again!

the sunset was actually way better than in the photos, and well, obviously much bigger. It was really huge to me because I have never seen the sun in such big size! Then we went to have dinner at one of the restaurant which is really very sweet. Wuxi's folk have really sweet tooth, like they really love to have everything with sugar in it! After having dinner, we went to their shopping malls. Wuxi has no night markets because it's banned there, so they have only supermarkets and shops in shopping malls. And their stuff are not at all cheap.

Day 2 in Shanghai!

Morning! heh, sooo, continuing for my Day 2 in Shanghai! today we spent time in Shanghai and Suzhou, which is pretty far from each other! about a 3 hours ride (pardon me, i forgotten the exact time for the trip already!)

In the morning, the first place we went to is Nanxiang XiaoLongBao Resturant. I've heard about it from almost everyone who went there before! like "oh you must try! it's famous, but i think it's only so so", haha, and yeaaaa, my parents find it so so too! only me, a sucker for xiaolongbao, who thinks it's fantastic! hahaha.

the xiaolongbao is considered cheap if converted in SG dollars!heh, but i forgotten the price already! ):oh and we ordered the tangbao which is like.. hmmm, one is enough!

SingHui was auctally scalded by the tangbao because she drank too fast even though she knew she shouldn't, but it's hard to avoid!

my grandparents who initially wanted to share one together but in the end, it's my parents who shared one!

drinking the tangbao! auctally the tangbao is really full of soup, a bit not very appetizing to us.. it's okay to drink for a while, but after some time, it's like, i wanna chew on something! xD

next up is Xiaolongbao! my parents and Singhui thinks that this wasn't really fanastic! but argh, i just like it loh!

oh, speaking of which, we were auctally given only 1.5 hours to shop! and we spend 40 minutes in Nanxiang, next i went to get my SD card, which is a good buy! The person quote me RMB400 (which is close to SGD80) for a 4GD SD Card. I immediately refused to get it, so he asked me "how much would you like to have it at?", and I answered "RMB80". "RMB80 is too low already!"(mum joined in) : (to me) how much does this cost in SG?me: (think a while) I can get this for less than SGD$20shopkeeper: how about this? RMB90 is the lowest i can go.Me: DEAL! though it wasn't a fantastic deal, because i can get this in SG for perhaps $20 (didn't really check, but ebay has it for about $18), I'm pretty happy with it because I really need another memory card in China! after getting the memory card, I passed by the stall (picture as above) and immediately brought 7 for my colleagues. well, it's actually buy 6 get 1 free (which means a total of 7), so I got 7 instead of just 6, which the person didn't realized it until I asked him to get me an 8th box to put the cravings. -.- well, to conclude it, it means i almost got another free one. :p oh, and it's actually a craving where we get to crave names out, so I got the person to carve out my colleagues name, and for 35RMB, it comes with a frame and a box to keep it. And the time frame to make each cravings is.. *beat drum* 3 minutes! so the total time taken is close to 30 minutes, which literally made my family late again for assembly! :X

while getting to our coach, we passed by this street full of really cheap thrills which quality were.. not very ideal. so we didn't shop at all.

next we went to the famous 内画馆 to view the famous painting which were paint from the inner part of the crystal. and on the 2nd floor is where they sell PiXu, and that's where my family spent a fortune on it). heh, I carry my PiXu around and felt pretty insecure with it after returning to Singapore. and I brought 2 for my colleagues in the video shop.

afterwhich we came here to have our lunch. the lunch was pretty good, at least the rice is good! xD

strawberries outside the restaurant where a family was selling, and my mother brought pretty a lot for us to eat. After lunch, we went to Suzhou, which is a 3/5 hours trip from Shanghai (couldn't remember the period of time taken actually). The first place we went to is 耦园 in Suzhou, which 寓有夫妇归田隐居之意. heh, lazy to think and translate.

this boat trip was really heh, not worth it, cos it's like just a 100m boat ride to the entrance and ta-da, OVER.

after nightfall which happens at 5pm-ish, the local tour guide took us to their shopping place, where most shops were closing/closed and we brought some stuff from the medicinal center and other than that, we were busy avoiding the firecrackers.

then, after dinner, we returned to our hotel, which is OMG DAMN SHIOK NICE hotel which is based in the Suzhou Industrial Park, the one which Singapore held a 65% --> 35% shares. The area we were staying at was considered to be the prime of the Industrial Park and the buildings really had those Singapore feel, but the temperature, well, reminds us we were rather far away from Singapore.

Shanghai Trip Day 1

Better update about this trip before my memory failed me! :p woke up at 4am to wash up and then reaching at Changi Airport at around 6am. heh, I was pretty much exciting at then! Actually, all the excitement came in only when I packed my luggage, which was like 2 days before leaving? This trip is pretty rush for me, just 2 days after ending my attachment and zoom zoom I have to fly to China already. I couldn't afford myself a me-time. ):

After breakfast at T3, we took a photo while we are heading to the departure gate. FYI, it was my dad & mum first time in T3. ha ha, yeap, they have never visit T3 before (not to mention taking flight from here).

Our family (not sure about my grandparents though!) first time inside the departure hall. :D auctally, there's nothing special about it. normally when I visit T3, I'll be like "wow, i wish i could go inside, it looks so damn classy!" but hmm, after going in, no such feelings exist at all..

while my mum was inside the toilet, and I was to make sure she is really inside (cos she took really a long time heh!), I was really amazed at the toilet. it's like.. bigger than my living room, no joke! but it's pretty weird taking a photo of the toilet (well, to me, it is) so i decided to take a photo of just myself.

then before we knew it, we were actually late for the flight! we were the last group to report lol ha ha ha.

still in Singapore, sigh, i wish there's no raindrop..

my parents who sat beside me. I sat beside the window as usual because I have the tendaency to feel sick after a while if I were to sit in the middle. It feels like I have no idea where I'm and I don't like it at all.

up in the air! the water drops had all evaporated. :Dafter 5 hours & 30 mins (I might be wrong) we finally reached Shanghai airport! :D it took long enough to make me feel pretty sick. I can't wait to get out of the plane because the longer I stayed, the sicker I get.

while waiting for our luggage, eh, i like this photo. xD my grandpa and father looks like they are local already. ha ha ha after checking out of the departure hall, the next thing I look most forward to is ...GETTING A SIM CARD SO THAT I CAN GO WIRELESS AT ALL TIMES USING MY LAPTOP (I brought the mobile USB Stick without SIM card!) but it's so expensive I didn't get it in the end, which is a good thing actually, because the only time when I would use internet is during night time when I use the computer, and most of the hotels that we stayed in had free internet connection! so after putting out luggage into the bus, the tour guide, whom we called Xiao Liang (i might be wrong about this) took us for a ride on the world's fastest bullet train currently, yes, even Japan's isn't this fast.

getting down to get to our bus and heading to the Orient Pearl. while on the bus, this is what we seen..

reached Orient Pearl at around 5pm. we headed off to the highest level to see the overview of Shanghai.

on the highest level, I saw this kid (he had a brother looking identical to him anyway) and i was like "awww how adorable" and i hurry and took a shot of him using my compact camera.

only grandma is not looking. ): anyway, after finishing one whole round of the highest level, we proceed to the 2nd highest level where we can walk on the glass panel. below for more pictures!

with that, we ended the trip at Orient Pearl and proceed to Nanjing Road, where the tour guide told us it's like Singapore Orchard, but seriously, no! I mean it got all the top brands over there, Zara, Mango, Cartier, Polo Rauphel, Haagen Daz, Unipolo blah blah blah but hey hey hey, it's just not Orchard you know! Oh! anyway, by the time we leave Pearl Orient, it's already going to be 5pm and I actually saw this really splendid sunset as the bus drives on, but because it's so far, I couldn't managed to get a nice photo of it! ):

At Nanjing road.. the stuff there, including memory card (cos I'm getting tired between switching memory cards between my DSLR and compact camera) and even photo album!

we also took a tram there which travels about 1km (from one end of nanjing road to another end) which costs 1RMB (or is it 5?) and my grandma keeps going "omg shit shit, will it bring us out of nanjing?", "why doesn't it stop yet???"
make me extremely scare also. -.- I was actually thinking of other ways to get back if that happen during the short ride.
oh! anyway, this is the first time we brought things from Unipolo.. their socks! LOL! well, their stuff weren't exactly cheap and i couldn't find a pair of leggings which i like and is cheaper!
after the whole trip, we went for dinner which seriously, chui to the max. their xiaolongbao really is .. cold, hard, thick skin, weird, something I wouldn't never wanna touch again. and their dinner were salty, cold and we eat just for the sake of eating instead of eating because we like it!
Motorola really trained me well, I learn to be less pickier on food, and I must have vegetables in every meal else I will feel uneasy.
Next we went to see the night scenery of 上海滩 (it's auctally called 外滩) but foreigners (Asian Chinese) call it Shanghai Tang because of the popular Hong Kong drama years ago.
The temperature was, well freezing cold! it's actually -3 degree, enough to make me shiver like mad, and the below photos are taken in such weather, and me and my sis are like, take one photo, run into the boat shelter (which has heater), a while later "hey let's go again!", then take a photo, run in, and repeat..

Afterwhich we head back to our hotel, which is supposedly a 4 star hotel, but kind of doesn't live up to it, but heh, I don't mind it because at least the temperature inside the room is not cold. and the bathroom has like those super hot bathe, which he he, make me bath for like close to an hour!

it's 9pm right now, and in another 7 hours I will be flying off to the land of little dragon buns, but here I'm, being constantly nagged by my mum to pack my luggage because I have yet to really pack them. : /\
