Hm. Alrite.. it's been about 1 month and I'm gonna start journeying down my China trip. Oops, that's late.

Flashback to 17.02.2007

I woke up at about 9am to eat the cake I had brought for my daddy last night with Yuling. Damn Lord, caused my stomach in great pain but it's really tasty.

I reach Shenzhen by 4.05. Just a word, the flight took about 4 hours to reach. By 5 we had reached an resturant to eat. The food was not bad I was starting to like China. After tht we went for shopping at a street. Oh gosh, I reckon there must be lots of stuff if the shops are operating, but nah. Quite a lot aren't, probable because it's the CNY's eve. I'm quite fansiated by the sight of young gals dressing so fashionable. Oh gosh, so ashaed of myself. Saw so0o mani VCDS and animation but I control the temptation because it might be cheaper in other place.

Next, we came to an hotel which is OMG~ great! Just enjoy the stay there and then wearing the bathing suit to sleep. What a pity I'm charging my Hp and cant take it down. I guess it's a nice pose if I took it down. Muzhaha.

The 2nd Day~~
It's my father birthday! haha.

I wondered why` I wake up in China at 7++ but feel tirish but in S'pore, I think I'm alreadi quite engerytic. Anyway, I had a full breakfast and had fun using the computer there. muzhaha. China's a great one.

Next we go to their musemum which is so boring and other place which sells pixiu**. Well, I was fanistaed by the myth of it. Aother interesting thing discovered during the trip is also aboutt he ye ming zhu **

Pixiu is an earth and sea variation, particularly an influential and auspicious creature for wealth. It is said to have a voracious appetite towards only gold and silver. Therefore traditionally to the Chinese, Pixiu has always been regarded as an auspicious creature that possessed mystical power capable of drawing Cai Qi (財氣 wealth) from all directions

Pi Xiu is the ninth offspring of the dragon. Pi Xiu craves for the smell of gold and silver and it likes to bring his master money in his mouth. Statues of this creature are often used to attract wealth in feng shui.

Looking at the posture of the Pi Xiu, the creature seems to project a sense of strength, elegance and mobility. Its obvious characteristics is its fat body to indicate a full stomach loaded with unlimited amounts of good fortune. Likewise it has a big opened mouth ready to gobble up money. Many people like Pi Xiu because Pi Xiu does not have a hole at its bottom so it only eats but do not dispose anything. This mean, Pi Xiu could contain a lot of good fortune and wealth luck for you and your family into your office or home and it stays within your premises and do not dispose any of the luck from your offices or home

Mythology

The myth of Pi Xiu tells that the creature violated a law of heaven, so the Jade Emperor punished it by restricting pixiu's diet to gold, and preventing the creature from defecating by sealing its anus. Thus, pixiu can only absorb gold, but cannot expel it. This is the origin of Pi Xiu's status as a symbol of the acquisition and preservation of wealth.
Pi Xiu is also a fierce creature. The large fangs visible in the creature's mouth are used to attack demons and evil spirits, draining their essence and converting it to wealth. Pi Xiu also guards against disease caused by these same evil spirits.
In tribute to Pi Xiu's ferocity and prowess in battle, 'The Pi Xiu was synonymous with the army in ancient China.

During China's history, Pi Xiu were commonly displayed in ancient architecture to ward off Yin Qi (陰氣) and to harness auspicious Qi. The statues of a Pixiu are commonly found on the four corners of the roofs of houses--usually houses of important people such as the emperor. The Pixiu is lined 5th, behind the dragon, phoenix, winged horse and sea horse. In ancient China, statues of Pi Xiu were also used as tomb guardians.

**夜明珠是什么物质，又何以能发光呢？

中国宝玉石协会的专家，对深圳夜明珠进行了鉴定，夜明珠是一种萤石矿物，发光原因是与它含有稀土元素有关，是矿物内有关的电子移动所致。

夜明珠在我国古代民间又名叫“夜光壁”、夜光石”、“放光石”，相传是世界上极为罕见的夜间能发出强烈光芒的奇宝。英国著名学者李约瑟在其巨著《中国科学技术史》中记载，古代中国人喜爱叙利亚产的夜明珠，它别名为“孔雀暖玉”。据说，印度一些人把夜明珠称为“蛇眼石”。据日本宝石学家玲木敏于1916年在他编纂的《宝石志》中记载，日本的夜明珠是一种特殊的红色水晶，被誉为“神圣的宝石”。 　　

1900年，英、法、日、俄、德、美、意、奥8个帝国主义国家合伙拼凑的“八国联军”，从天津向北京侵犯，慈禧太后挟光绪皇帝从北京逃往西安，宣布实行“量中华之物力，结与国之欢心”的卖国政策，与侵略者签订了屈辱的“辛五条约”。 　

　 据说，慈禧太后为了博得侵略者的欢心，将自己珍藏的4颗夜明殊作为信物，派遣一个小宫女送给侵略者。这个小宫女有爱国主义思想，不愿把奇主送给外国者，她非常气愤地暗藏宝物人民间，当时谁也不知道她的去向，成为近代一大悬案。 　　

过了几十年后，在西安发现了4颗明珠，经郭沫若同志考证，这正是失踪了几十年之久的慈棺大后珍藏过的4颗夜明珠。据报上发表的消息说，把这4颗明殊放在抽屉里，“晚上进屋未开灯，一拉抽屉即见满屋放出耀眼的白光。”物以稀为贵。 　　 夜明珠本从矿石中采集而得，但它在地球上的分布是极为稀少的，开采也很困难，故此这显得格外珍贵。一些古描写它具有“侧而视之色碧；正面视之色白”的奇异闪光。据说，在古代希腊罗马，个别帝王把它镶嵌在宫殿上或者戴在皇冠上，有的皇后、公主把它装饰在首饰上或者放在卧室里，以它作为国宝加以宣扬和赞美。 　　

夜明珠究竟是一种什么样性质的奇宝？古今中外的说法颇不一致。据一些专家考证，夜明珠并不是象某些人所吹嘘的那样神秘，而是几种特殊的矿物或岩石，经过人们加工后才变成圆珠形。夜明珠发出的光，并不像神话中传说的那样能把“龙宫照得如同白昼”。发光强度较大的夜明珠，在黑暗中，人们在距离它半英尺的地方，能清清楚楚地观看印刷品。 　　 报刊上报道说，工程师霍永锵、肖铭林二位同志于1982年在广东某钨矿床，发现了夜间自行发光的萤石，这些萤石五菜缤纷：浅绿的、深紫的、浅蓝的、浅棕的以及各种叫不出色彩的斑谰萤石，其中唯独浅棕色萤石在黑暗的夜晚里发光，相距2、3米远仍清晰可见美丽的夜光，靠近时，可惜助其光亮分辨出报纸上有字与元字部分。 　

　 尔后又发现，发光黄石在紫外线照射下，变成淡绿色萤光，未经照射的萤石则发出浅蓝、浅紫到深紫色夜光。霍永骼、肖铭林二位同志这次收集到的会发光的萤石颗粒较小，只有5至6毫米，颗粒尚不够理想，要获得可制成大颗粒圆珠的矿物还有待今后继续寻找。虽然这次发现的夜间自行发光的萤石还不是古代的传说的夜明珠，但却为今后寻找夜明殊这一极罕见的无价之宝提供了重要线索。 　　

为什么夜明珠在夜间会发出强烈而又绮丽的亮光呢？对此众说纷坛。一些宝石学家认为，因为在夜明珠的萤石成分中混人了硫化砷，钻石中混人了碳氢化合物。白天，这两种物质能发生“激化”，到晚上再释放出能量，变成美丽的夜光，并且能在一定的时间内持续发光，甚至永久发光。以上只是一部分专家的看法，不一定全面、准确。夜明珠还有许多奥秘，至今还没有被专家们了解。据说，有一种叫做水晶夜明珠的，能发出“火焰”般的夜光，但其中的发光物质究竟是什么？至今还不太清楚。总之，夜明珠至今仍是尚未彻底揭开的一个千古奇谜。**

Alrite, back to my trip, on the bus when we are going to have our munch, we pass by a group of lady quarreling with the policeman. Well, it's obvious that they are trying to get attraction from the public. The tour guide explained to us that most probably the boss took their money and run off. That's why they wanted the government to settle it.

Alrite, next we reached the resturant. One word - tasty but salty. I wondered if it was a japanese resturant or not, because the whole hour there, I only saw two type of sushi. My lord! Then we went to stroll and my sis was lucky to have buy a death note CD and book inside a shop. Argh~ I saw Keroro keychain too, it's cheap also, but it'sw as in a machine and the lady dun have coins to exchange with me. I'm so sad man!

Next, we went dozing off in the bus until we came to a petrol centre, which is 5 hours later. It's freezing k, and I really buai tahan. ehx. It's perhaps 10 times colder than in drum room.

Next we went to a historial musemum and it's quite interesting because it's not like S'pore one, where you can see only the left-overs. At there, we can walk into the houses and got staue there. But the one that left the most impression on me is the playground. haha. It's somehow like our adventure camp, but of course a, easily. I had fun climbing one slope which is aid with a string. I cant climp up that!

Next is the worst thing that can ever happen - Dinner. It's like hell man. Amost cant eat finish. Somemore it's freezing.

Next I experineced something in which I can't find in S'pore- road with lights. the bus travelled thought the darkness. I'm glad to find myself enjoying the darkness, with Fireworks osscianlly being put out.

We reach Guangzhou at arund 7 and had a great time shopping It depends on if you dare or not1 Because the shopping valley is quite diffcult to find and my mum didnt want to go at first but I dont care, i just keep on walking and I'm glad my mum followed. It's another wonderful shopping day, with my purchase of lolipop. haha. The hotel is not really great as I expected to. But it's still okie.

3th day alreadi. 2 more days and I got to return to S'pore. Sigh. Just can help falling in love with China.

Wake up at 7 am. Sis took the moring call.. I didnt enjoyed the breakfast. After breakfast I went back to the room to pack my things and watch the sow broadcasted. Haha, not bad but I wondered why I didnt appreaicated it in SG.

After that we went to ride on boat. Eh. veri cold. But it's an interesting sight to see dogs playing with pigs just beside the river and they are free to roam anywhere they want. And the pigs are.. CUTE!

Okie, went to the nearby resturant to eat. No comment. Bloddi hell. I buai tahan. No choice, got to eat up all if I dun want to get dizzy on bus.

I went to the Xi Guang da shao's mansion and i'm quite amazed by the things there, well, I don't really know how to describe the feelings.. I brought an stamp for myself, or should I sae pendant? haha, it''s a stamp made from jade with my zodiac sigh on top. I asked around S'pore before and know the price lies roughly 18-25 dollars for one. i bought for 10 bulks only at there. So happi! Oh, I even saw a chungong tu. Eh, veri paiseh to sae wad it is. It's in hanyu pinyin. I guess you guys can reckon wad it is.

Next, we went to eat pang fan. KNS! damn frecko scary an horrible. Sigh. Not having a good appeciate this few day but I got to forced everything down my throat.

Haha. then it's shopping time again. It's great!! The traffic is worst off than Bugis. and it's too great than Bugis!! Wahaha. Ok, then I shop shop shop like no boby bussiness but I didnt spend quite a lot there because the clothes are all knit-wear type.

Next, went back to hotel. Worst hotel I ever gone to and I cant believe it, S'pore has one too and it was considered one of the top hotels and had a rich history in China. Name - Furama Hotel. The beds are like rocks ad the bathroom is so errie that I didnt enjoy bathing.

Kaes. Today is the 2nd last day I'm staying in China. hm. Went to.. nexxt time then continued bah. =)
