it's the last day of a year again. When i was way younger than i'm right now, i used to look forward to a new year becuase it mean a new starting. but right now, it meant nothing but another year which repeats itself again and again. no more surprises like before, no more never before like before, no more space for new memories like before.

alright, for next year, my resolutions will be (but i'm pretty sure it will fail halfway ha ha)

1. no more always shopping. i'm sick sick sick sick of shopping shopping and shopping. once in a moonlight is fine. for year 2009, other than the kite flying and pular ubin, i've been shopping shopping and shopping. and i really miss kite flying. yulingggg, organise one again pleaseeeeeee. it's really one of the most awesome day i had in 2009!

2. be less selfish. so that when peiyu ask me how to do this and that, i will be giving her the direct steps instead of telling her "figure out yourself". this is going to be very hard anyway.

3. exercise more! i should stick to my secondary 3. swimming and cycling. i'm still hesitating about going to gym cos running at a constant speed for 15 mins is going to prove really really hard to me after lack of practice since.. sec 3?

4. save more money. i wanted to hit a 10k on my 20th birthday but at the rate at which i've been spending for this past 2 weeks, it's very hard.

5. sleep early. oh okay, this is really hard and no point so i don't think i will stick to it.

6. limiting the sleeping with aircons on to 30 times a year. save the earth!! at least next time when i asked some idiot to save the earth, i'm a good example.

7. bring my strawberry recycle bag everywhere i go! like i say, save the earth! use less plastic bags!!

8. if i can, i will try to. cos right now, if i can, but i'm lazy, i will not try at all. oh, wait i mean, going out. not homework.

9. will try to be more forgiving. this is going to be very hard cos once someone said just something wrong, and that's it. that person is dead. so far this year, there's 2, or more. but i can remember two so far.

10. taking good shots instead of the crappy photos i'm taking right now. i feel like i'm throwing my camera's face right now.

11. spring cleaning my room every study break and vaction, so that i will not see dust bugs again (this time round, when i soak my figurines in the water overnight, the dusts sank to the bottom of the pail and solidified. damn disgusting!!)

okay, making resolutions is fun. but sticking to it is hard. and since it's the last day already, i wanted to list out the top 10 awesome events i had this year. (:

(not according to ranking, every event is awesome in it's own way)

this day is awesome! i had a really really nice and fun day! trying to beat catherine's kite down which eventually failed. ): and then the funny moment when i had to chase the kite after the string left me. after that dinner at just acia which is very awesome as well because all i can remember is making people laugh, and me laughing at myself too.

i wasn't excited at all in the beginning, i had a very chao look until i don't know when ha ha, and then everything turns out better and better and i really really enjoy the night. :D especially toning with yuling and see theng, and peiyu, who wah, really make my morning a good morning ha ha and then ton all the way to my 2nd shuttle bus at 6:50pm. and peiyu was very amazed that i didn't even yawn at all. hee heee, cos it's so fun! of course i won't yawn. my mouth is too busy talking crap lol.

okay, no photo for this because i don't have a photo of that night, and we are pretty afraid to take photos, especially after we heard a shrieking sound while cycling and the worst thing is ONLY SOME people heard it and i'm one of the unlucky ones. the cycling for dinner is the best i can ever have for all of the chalets, and the dinner at changi is awesome! so shioking nice!! the stingry !!!! and the game STRESS is great also, it makes me so damn awake and so proud because even without specs I win almost all the games. :D

Going back to FHSS to visit Mr Koh

went back to FHSS with see theng and yuling to meet mr koh! :D :D makes me go down the way of memories cos every single wood and table reminds me of the time i had in DNT. and then talking with mr koh for a few hours which is not enough cos we had much more laughing! especially this:

cos mr koh say i sec 1 sec 2 very quiet one, he say east i don't dare say west.
then sec 4 sec 5 i've started to shoot back already, but still at beginner stage.
then everytime he see me he headache, cos he say "do this" i say "why do this, why cannot do that??" ask until he surrended and then say "okok, you win you win, do that do that",
and while other people takes 10 mins to ask him question, i take 20 minutes, and it's for arguing.

met up with Pei Yu for lunch at CU again! ha ha ha ha ha, gave her a hard time because when she want to eat, she can't eat at all, cos she is busy laughing and her face is so damn red!!! then after that walked all the way to siti's house bus stop to take answers for FCS stuff and then, instead of going home to study for CT, me and peiyu went to jurong point and shop! ha ah ha ha fun day!!!!

then the other awesome events will be with lee woon and shiyun! :D









the s'pore flyer day, crystal jade day, hotpot culture day, tonning day. auctally, every meet up is awesome! :D :D we always crack up the lamest jokes and laugh and laugh and laugh over it! you guys are the best gifts i ever had in life cos you guys will ( i hope) never be a past tense! :D :D

watched the really really funny and all times favourite (of mine!) movie "Mr Vampire" with Peiyu in the afternoon when she came to my house.

after the show, we were about to go to salvation army to donate all our unwanted stuffs and i realised she was going to throw away fuhua's uniform (top only, she lost the skirts already, but still better than me, who threw everything away once i've collected my o lvls results)

so when i saw the shirt, which had been 2 years going to 3 since i last worn mine, i just immediately wear it and surprisely i can fit!
(i thought i won't be able to fit in peiyu's)
and then i just took my high waist skirts and match it with the top ha ha.
niceeee lehhhh.
i tink i still have the student look ha ha!
why last time i wear until so OMG???
(cos i tucked in, and nv fold my skirt until so short!! )



then we headed off to choa chu kang first then to salvation army to donate all our clothes and i got 3 novels for $1 and nothing else.

seems like everyone is donating their stuffs during this period cos when we were throwing our stuff at the collection bin (which means items are not for sale yet), there are a lot more stuff there, sofas, tables and television.
you name it, they (should) have it.

went bugis with peiyu today and saw myself spending $30 on tanktops (notice the S please) which make my current tank top collection to 12 pieces (or more) and tees remaining at 2 pieces (or less) only.
broad shoulders top, lace and studded tank tops are everywhere in bugis street.

for a start, i got one such studded tanktop for myself and i was pleased with it initially THEN i realised 90% of the shops there had the same tank top and i can't help but whine about how sick i'm of seeing IDENTICIAL studded tank tops to poor peiyu ha ha ha.

oh, then there's this very interesting shop which, for year 2010 had a promotion like this:
1st piece: $20
2nd piece $0.10
(it means 2 pieces for 2010 cents)

and the $0.10 has to be in coin(s) because it's susposed to be throw into a coin bank and the lady will donate it.
and the tank tops (ha ha again!) were such a beau i just got 2 for myself. :D

then then then there's this shop which i asked the bag price;

me: excuse me, how much.
shopowner: $20

and then peiyu was laughing like mad, of which i realised later how wrong my sentence is ha ha ha.

afterwhich walked to city hall for dinner at astons (again i know, but it's delicious!!) where we spend $20.70 for a total of 3 sets, consisting of 3 chickens, 6 side sides.
hickory sauce shiok shiok yummyyyy i likeee hmmmm.
ha ha ha ha.

then after dinner went to rubi to hunt for a pair of covered shoes for my practical and finally i got one at $7.50 (dirt cheap!!) at the one in city link. :D :D

merry christmas!

went to batam today with my family and my father's friend's family (who stayed in batam) brought us around batam for sight seeing and shopping.

we reach the harbourfront pier at 8am and took a 45 minute ferry ride to batam and met up with my father's friend's wife first who brought us to the gathering place at my father's friend's brother house. then we explore the house which is 3 storey tall but it look plain yet lively.

they brought us first to a market which is like singapore and we brought the delicalies there which i don't think i will eat them lol.

then off for lunch at a beach which is quite far away from the house.
man the lunch is awesome.
i so so so enjoy the crabs, scallops, fish, prawn and coconut drink !!!
but the only sad thing is they come in size s.

afterwhich we headed off to this shopping mall which is very disappointing.
nothing inside caught my eyes and the price of the stuff there is very expensive too.
in the end, i brought only 1 photo album and had a ice creep pancake over there which is disappointing too.

afterwhich we went to the supermarket where my father come alive. he brought carwash shampoo over there while me, my sis and my mum got nothing cos the cans, koko crunch and a lot of things is so much expensiver than singapore.
even loreal shampoo also expensiver than singapore.

then lastly headed off back to jetty where i played the arcade there for only 40 cents per game. ^^ and then home sweet home.

flea market in far east plaza was pretty much a blast.

sold double of what i've expected which is obviously good news and gave away 3 dvds which i wanted to throw them away and i got myself the strawberry recycle bag in return. :D

dear Santa Claus,

please please please give me the courage to click click on "buy ticket" to any country in tigerairline/jetstar solo trip cos i really really want to try going overseas solo but i still don't have the courage to do so ever since august. ): i've been trying to convince myself but that apparantly doesn't work well for me. ):

and please please please let me have enough time to think what i should be doing after polytechnic life because right now i have no idea what i should do. and everytime i thought of it, i will be reprimanding myself for my attidue in work last year and in the very near future, while my friends are pursing their degree, i'm already out in the workforce reprimanding myself even harder for playing through my year 1.

lastly, please scold me in my dreams to stop depending on you to give me a solution to every of my problems. tell me what's done, done. it's a fact i will never able to make it to university.

all this mess, i've made them all happen.

but santa, please pray for me that my cabinet i'm going to make tmr is going to work, with the leds blinking.

the papers are over, no more camping in the study room for the whole of afternoon with chances of seeing 2 fine man and 1 lady going in and out, out and in, one guy go home, then lady sit on floor, another guyfriend sit beside her and nudge her blah blah sheep, then the girl laughs (or crying, what the hell i don't know). then i will be paiseh because i constantly peek at what they are doing hee heee.

the papers are such a killer, mpi, fcs and tp.
and amazily, i was early for 2 papers.
HA HA HA HA HA.
i dare to swear that i have never ever been early for any of my papers at all before.
anyway, it was so difficult, i stayed throughout the whole paper because i couldn't finish them before the teacher said "no more leaving of the examiniation until the paper is over"

sooo after the last paper, went off to marina square to meet lee woon and shiyun because we've promised to treat shiyun to yuki yaki. :D

had a lot a lot alot of chickens but that couldn't make me full. ):
but it makes lee woon and shiyun pretty full.
it was the ice cream that make me feel full.
within 30 mins, we managed to finish 18 cups in totally, and we were so busy with the frying of ice cream (thanks to the time limit they gave us) that i didn't even want to take photo of the ice cream part cos finishing the ice creams are more important!!

2 weeks holidays are here and once it's over, it's 2010 and that marks the end of my teenage years and a whole new start of another beginning - the big 20. ):

i hate this nostalgic feeling i had.

AMPR class test this morning is so terrible i had no choice but to cheat with my classmate beside me, and i even had to take cab from clementi to my school because i took my own sweet time in home eating coco krunch thinking that the test won't start so early.

headed off to orchard flea market after school with shiyun and i saw this extremely cute polaroid (click click) which the lady is selling at $120. ): other than this cute polaroid, i've saw DIY tank tops and oxford heels (Which sadly, don't have size for big feet me)

then off to somerset 313 for a brief shopping and to city hall to meet lee woon.
wanted to treat shiyun to yuki yaki cos it's her bdae today but in the end we decided to postpone the treat to next week cos i'm really in bad shape to enjoy myself in yuki yaki. ):
