today was such a fun day i wish it didn't end! ):

after a almost whole day of practical, i've head off to marina square to meet up with shi yun first because lee woon is still working.

we are susposed to dine in yuki yaki but the time limit put us off cos 2.5 hours is really really not enough for hungry people like the three of us.

so in the end we chose hotpot culture because i didn't look carefully at the "$25 for eve of public holidays" >:|

waited for lee woon to come before we started chionging the main dishes (hee heee, shiyun and i started on our side dishes before she came) and then we didn't really eat much of the main dishes cos the choices is like not much? i miss crystal jade!!

and since they don't provide us with free flow of water, we had to buy our own drinks in and to make up for the "no free flow" we decided to use their tissue to the fullest.

and i suspect we are blacklisted over there because we asked for like 12 scopes of chocolate refill, 15 scopes of ice cream, 5 refills of soup,15 side orders and our order time interval is like every 5-10 mins?

oh, after the dinner we were so full and my side views is like horrous cos it's bulping out and the only thing the three of us wanted to do when we get out there is to look for toilet before we head off to esplanade for sight seeing.

but in the end, we end up learning new photo skills and we keep toying around with the photo techniques. ^^ so sad, i wish we could ton there!

afterwhich when we finally decide to go home, we had to pass by the underground and we saw the artpiece on exhibition there and we stayed for like a good 1/2 hour there and ended us rushing for the last train

:D i love today!!!!
should never forget the tom yum marshmellow, chicken banana and stalker X!!

meet the aunties wannabes HA HA.
this is AMPR, where i love every practical lesson (so far) because it's fun?
but for the lectural... it's a different story.

did riveting today with my newly formed group and we finished out as the last but after comparing (siti the auntie wannabe did it ha ha), we realised ours belongs to the better one, except for the part which teacher rivet for us (so we put a "teacher did this" beside the rivet part) lol

afterwhich is TP where siti and i run up the stairs after we saw our MPI tutorial teacher because both of us know how she is going to nag at us for skipping (i had MC anyway) tutorial on friday.

(we are at 1st level, TP tutorial at 2nd level)
we are just starting to climb up the stairs and suddenly siti climb very fast; then she stopped and looked at me, and i gave her a ?? look and she point behind me so i turned behind and saw the MPI tutorial teacher, AND I IMMEDIATELY DASHED UP TO LEVEL 2 ALSO! ha ha ha ha.

we both kept laughing about this because we were that afraid of that teacher.

today's the last day of the thailand trip.
packed everything and then met with our driver at 1130am and he drove us to the airport.
brought tibits again inside the airport and off we went back to SG and land at about 6pm.

after we landed, we brought wine and i got my sis in trouble because of the metal stuffs i brought ( i put it in her bag), in the end, she got her chewing gum confiscated but luckily the DVDs were allowed to be brought out because they had printings on it.
so in the end, i gave her my chewing gum.
of all time to be sotong ah me.

went off to whompoa to eat. OMG, i was so happy cos i missed Singpoare hawker centre so much (imagine the ones in thailand) and had such a good dinner beforeg going back home to unpack my stuffs.

Photobucket

chatuchak is auctally a garden. i wanted to capture the bubbles but i had no time to really go in front and take a shoot.

Photobucket

dog inside chatuchak.

Photobucket

one such unique stall in chatuchak

Photobucket

went off to chatuchak via BTS (60 Baht for to-and-return trip) this morning and one thing i must mention: the food stalls there stinks like mad. other than that, i can still bear with it.

the whole place is very big and sells so many different type of things. handmade soaps, antiques, art pieces, clothes (obviously), travel bags; etc.

so in the end, i brought

Studded Tank Top - 200 baht/SGD8 (quite stupid eh me to get this)
High Waist Flowery Skirt - 200 baht/SGS8
Belt - 50 baht/SGD2
I love Bangkok Tee Shirt - 100 baht/SGD4

then afterwhich we took a really long ride in taxi (cos of the heavy traffic) to Plantium mall (again) to shop. oh ya, plantium mall is a very big place. there's like 3 plantium mall which i'm not sure what their names are, let me name them

(1) Plantium Mall 1 - very old old that type
(2) Plantium Mall 2 - quite new, and looks more trendy?
(3) Planitum Mall 3- VERY BUGIS. you can get 1 dress for 100 baht (remember bugis street 1 dress $10?)

So we went to have lunch at KFC at fashion mall and then starts our shopping;

Photobucket

outside fashion mall

at fashion mall, the things are pretty expensive (i will say it's like far east?) even though you are able to get cheap stuff if you really know how to dig

for me, i got (fashion mall)

(1) studded tank top (i know! i brought like 3 studded tank top.) - 100 baht/SGD4
(2) Pouch - 50 baht / SGD2
(3) Bra (ha ha!) - 100 BAHT / SGD4

Total: $10

my sis got so many english series DVD at like $1 plus per disc and the quality is good!

then after Fashion Mall,
we went back to Mall 1 and 2 to continue with our shopping which i got myself one more skirt at 150 baht/ SGD7.50.

Photobucket

the road that separates mall 1 and 2 (it's just a small lane)

Photobucket

inside mall 2

auctally i remembered i've brought more than that (i was carrying like at least 20 plastic bags) but couldn't really remember what other stuffs i brought. one plastic bag was used to keep water bottles which we brought for 10 baht/bottle.

we are susposed to go to the skytower to eat the international buffet which is highly raved by my cousins because

(1) the food is really nice
(2) it's open by a singapore lady

but we didn't managed to eat because of the traffic jame and even though the hotel is like just a 10 mins walk away from our current location, there's a dark alley in between and we thought we shouldn't risk it so in the end, we walked the opposite direction to BIG C for about 10 minutes during which i saw

(1) a small boy sleeping by the roadside where everyone is walking by
(2) the roadside stalls of thailand and the smell really makes me want to vomit. sometimes i really wonder how the people can withstand the smell. it's like OMG, really so smelly! so bad that i wanted to vomit!!
(3) the night markets there which i'm really tempted to shop. i'm too used to shopping in flea markets already that the night markets suits me more.

i thought the walk is pretty interesting thought i'm pretty afriad of pickpockets.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

so BIG C is a supermarket (like Giant) where we brought REALLY a lot of tibits. and then off to hotel via taxi because we are really too tired (like ytd, my leg totally CMI)

and then we had dinner at our hotel cos we shopped till 10pm and all resturants were closed already. ):

Photobucket

woke up at 3am this morning for the morning flight to thailand via tiger airline which, for the first time i slept in a airplane althought it wasn't exactly comfortable because the seats were unadjustable ): ever since i've enter poly, i just technially sleep on any mode of transport, bus, mrt, cars, you name it.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

reached thailand and we went to book a van for 2100 baht for the to-and-return trip (airport to hotel, hotel to airport) for the 5 of us, which is like 400 baht for each of us. the one thing i like about it is the safety-ness it provide.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

aww, so we check in and then we hurry out and took a cab to the wholesales mall "plantium mall" via the hotel cab which costs us 200 babt for 5 people, which is 40 baht (per person), about SGD$2.

and then we shopped there the whole day till evening and had our lunch there, which is kinda like the kopitiam in Singapore just that it's kinda deserted~~

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

the road separating mall 1 and 2

in the end, i brought myself
-3 tank tops for 100 baht = 3 for SGD4
- 1 studded tank top for 130 baht= SGD5
- 2 belts for 50 baht each = SGD2/belt
- 1 high waist jeans for 200 baht = SGD8

total: SGD$21

Plantinum Mall is shiokness i wish i could go there again. :D

afterwhich we took a cab back to hotel and it cost us only 50 baht for 5 of us (SGD2 for 5 of us)

Photobucket

after about half an hour, we set off again to MBK via BTS (MRT in SG) for dinner and some shopping. and it's the first time i took a public transport in overseas, quite a nice first time ^^, it's almost the same in SG, the clock looks exactly the same though and the escalator is pretty scary because it had the "bump bump bump" sound.

so we reached and we went for pizza company. I love the chicken wing!!!!!!! i totally miss the chicken wings!! it's like the ones you see and feel and taste (even the size!) in pizza huts in singapore, just that it's so much nicer! and with more oil too, but i don't mind the oil because the chicken wing is really tasty!!and the pizza is also a must eat! and then the thai students sitting in front of our table has such fashion sense I can't help but admire.

Photobucket

And the way they ask the waitress to take photo for them, and the way they pose for it reminds me of my secondary school. ):
those old days which is a matter of a past and should never return.

after the dinner which costs us a 200 babt (SGD$8), we went to shop there. brought myself at wastons

-Loreal Shampoo
- Neutrogeno Cleanser (80ml)
-Loreal Conditioner
-Loreal Leave in Serum

all costing me 584 baht (SGD24) which is pretty cheap and the fact that i really need it cos i didn't bring any shampoo or cleanser over here and i had such a fetish desire for loreal. wanted to get the mebelline eyeliner for lee woon but the price is not much difference from SG so not worth to get it huh.

and then off to develop photos at 4 baht per photo, with a free A8 photo with every 100 photos printed. printed like 200 plus photos starting from last year till this year? :D

lastly, we went to buy tibits over there. those local special. wanted to get for my friends but it's so hard to get, if you get what i mean, cos i'm not sure who wants what. ):

by then, i'm complaining (like once/min) about how sore my leg is cos we've been walking and walking non stop that i bet i didn't walk that much in NP for a week.

i wis i've got more tank tops over there.
the colours and the quality is quite good. ):
