Hi everyone! Happy New Year 2011!!!

Last Day.

After all this months, today's the last day of December, and also the last day of Soon Ann & Sin Yao. ):  Had a potluck breakfast at 9am which is incrediably fulling, so full that I skipped lunch. So, in the meantime when we were all bored, we spam a lot of photos, since, after today, it's not possible to have photos with them in the office anymore~ I forgotten if the photos were taken before/after the speech that were made by both of them, which is touching, and Sin Yao cried before finishing her speech. I hope I wouldn't do so during my speech which I would have to make in another one more month. 

MacRitchie

Getting to MacRitchie before the sun even sets in a cloudy day is as good as getting there after the sun set. No beautiful wow amazing sunsets for us to take. yes yes, I depend totally on the environment instead of my skills. :/

Took some photos, have a short break sitting in one of the "huts" until my baby sister legs hurt and miraculously recovered after we left the place, and then we went off to Dempsey Hill for dinner and nope, it doesn't feel like Singapore but I couldn't figure out where it feels like.

Last Kbox of the year

K box during lunch with my colleagues again for the last time in Year 2010 & the last time with Sin Yao and Soon Ann. ),:

We went from 11:20 all the way to 2 plus in the afternoon. A lot of photos were taken but many were like extremely blurred, so .. :/ 
 

was transferring photos from my one and only left memory card when I saw this photo which was taken like 1 week ago and mu ha ha ha, I was extremely tempted to edit this photo like immediately. :D

and yes, my other 2 memory cards has officially spoil, 1 which is damaged due to internal problem and another due to external injuries. :/ guess I have to get a new one soon because 1 memory card is totally not enough for me. :P

hmm, Year 2010 is going to be over in just a few days later and it means that Sin Yao and Soon Ann will be just another week away from leaving, and soon, it's Hong Chuan and me who will be leaving. I'm very reluctant to part with Year 2010 because attachment has been so fun that it's sort of my top priority now.. I gave up 2 events this month just so that I can attend work.

Other than that, this year is a good year to me. sigh, i can't bear to bid farewell to 2010 when it's been such a great one. Friendly and funny classmates, teachers who made lessons interesting, school which has been so enjoyable with all it's facility, and not to mention, attachment which started out sour but now, i can't bear to bid farewell to it.

I've learn a lot from my attachment too, i actually believe I learn how to care more and to spare thoughts for others a little bit much more than in the past and so many more which might be insignificant to my academic but significant to my character. I've also learn to give at all times, like, not to be so calculative in money.

The downside of this attachment is.. I don't really bother to call my friends to go out because I'm actually having a rather fulfilling time right now in the office with my colleagues that I rather go home and sleep and wake up the next morning full of energy to joke with them again.

So yeah, now.. is like, I will still go out, but rarely, since I don't get much people who will ask me out.. and I don't mind at all. :D it's not like Year 1, when I was really busy since I keep asking people to go out with me.. not anymore. xD

hmmm that's about all. it's already 4 in the morning. good morning! ha ha. I have to update before I forget about the events that happened for this past week.

Marriott Hotel Buffet

Farewell buffet in the Marriott Hotel (which is the hotel just beside Tang's Plaza) with my colleagues & some 30 over staffs in my company for the retrenchment of some staffs in Motorola.
The food provided were delicious, though there's not much choice. The first one I ate is the chicken rice which is totally yummylious, and eating raw Laksa with Hong Chuan because we didn't cook the noodle & the ingredients in the Laksa. Then my colleague told me I should ask the chief to cook the noodle together with the ingredient before we add in the soup on our own. -.- imagine the amount of worms I ate. Yucks! 
Other than that, the dim sum served is really good there, like i wish i could keep eating.
Then we started to be really helpful in trying to match up Chaili and Randy, who is another staff but not in the same department with us, and it was so fun because Chai Li was so helpless and had to play along with us. :P And she was like "argh, don't do this leh. this is so paiseh!" but we still go ahead anyway. :P
After the whole buffet, a few of us, Ah Net, Soon Ann, Zhang Xuan & I went to Ion B1 to shop and nope, being really poor, we didn't get anything at all. :( he he he.

Loreal Sales

Loreal Sales with Peiyu today. the sales was awesome, and I ended up spending $105 on shampoos and basic necessities. Ha! They were supposed to last me for a good 6 months!
 And because I owe Peiyu her birthday gift, I brought 2 cakes with a hidden card underneath the cakes (a bit repetitive I know, but I really couldn't think of better idea!) to compensate for her birthday.

Underwater Photography

Went to Yio Chu Kang Swimming Complex with Yao yao during lunch break to swim and to try out underwater photography. and we set off at 12pm and only return to office at close to 3pm. xD it was so fun, well, minus the part where we were constantly nagged by the lifeguard there because we lied that we had permission to take underwater photographs. :/ but still, worth remembering hehe. the photos were rather good though there's only 5 photos. ): sian-ness, I wish we can take photographs in swimming pools. ):

Dinner with CO peeps!

After finishing work at close to 6pm, went over to Sunset Way to meet up my CO friends. and I was like super late so, I joined them for supper instead of dinner.

've never know that Sunset Way had such good food even thought it was really near my school. Speaking of which, Ellin drove us past NP while on the way to her home and argh, I miss NP a lot. I wish I could just get down the car at the bus stop, walked toward Block 6 like I always did in the past. ): no more, school life in NP has officially ended since August.

So Ellin drove me to my home because I still have a bottle of Vodka which I brought last year after the Thailand trip and then to her home where we started drinking and playing cards. I drank just a little portion and I was like "Why no Vodka taste one?" then after a while I was like "eh, I feel rather giddy right now" and then I got addicted and drank all the way until midnight and auctally walked home because I wanna see how far my determination can get me to :D


  Brise, I kind of gave up going for the East Coast Park in the morning because he didn't go too. :p

COSPLAY THURSDAY

Had a awesome Christmas Party in advance today with my colleagues and superiors in one of my supervisor's house today. The theme for that day was cosplay and everyone participated actively in the theme, except for Lao Da, who didn't cosplay at all. Well, anyway, it was so fun though Lady Gaga really put me off with her make up.

  inspiration. In the end, it's my 50mm who proves it's worthiness. It had travel 1 whole year with me, suffering from bangs and knocks during traveling and yet still remains intact. My 24-70mm, on the other hand, is now in the service center and once I collect it, I will have to bid farewell to my $200.
I was talking to Ah Net about cameras and lens earlier on. I actually preferred my 50mm lens compared to 24-70mm lens because the color and sharpness produced from 24-70mm is actually that good enough there's no way i can photoshop too much whereas I can do a lot more in photoshop with the photos produced by 50m. but the only concern is 50mm is way too "near", it's hard to focus at a lot of times too. 
I have to start eating grass already. ): $200 service fee is not cheap, and I have to get a dry cabinet really soon!
speaking of which, I actually spent 1/2 hour doing the above ring and I'm rather pleased with what I got! :D and today is a awesome day! ^^ Morning was great, lunch was great, but not after work. ): Went for the yummy king award winner Roast Duck stall in Toa Payoh and also the yummy king award winner desert (which I have no idea how to convert into English) with my colleagues and the noodles is so damn nice, though the chicken is quite salty but the char siew is way so awesome I can't stop eating! The price is rather expensive though.. each of us spent $8.60 on this meal.... but then, once in a moonlight is fine lah! :)  

After finishing our meal, we brought KOI drink. he he he he, my coco barry drinkkk. :P we ended our trip with that and went back to work, and by the time we reached office, it's already close to 3pm! so imagine.. all of us were totally mood-less to work! :P
Then after work, I went all the way to Canon to repair my lens. It's going to cost close to $250 and would take earliest 8-10 days, else 2-3 weeks if the parts needed were unavailable. Apparently, the fungus had etched itself to the elements, so they had to change the elements, hence the high cost. I was so depressed when I went home, sigh. $250!!!

BEGINNING OF THE BUFFET MARATHON NIGHTMARE

Just a brief update of pictures on the first buffet of the week, the beginning of the Buffet Marathon Nightmare which i named it, thought i enjoyed the buffet today a lot even though i was really drained of water during the buffet. ): Today is the alignment meeting, so as expected, we were extremely free today because all the superiors were having alignment review the whole day. :D :D so we decided to go all the way to Yishun to have lunch and we chanced upon the Japanese buffet, so we decided to settle on that because student only have to pay $12.90 nett.

Siew Lan, the only "adult" with her because Ah Net used Sin Yao's student card and Zhang Xuan used her long overdue Ezlink card! ha ha anyway, we had a great time eating the buffet because it was so relaxed. Normally during buffet, we were so stressed because the food seems to be never ending but not today!  Once we were full, we just stopped eating. totally no pressure at all. :D

this pose was the most disgusting pose I ever had cos the chopsticks tasted like there's raw food on it and I almost puked because of the taste. And once the shoot is taken, i immediately throw it back to the hot pot because I wanted it to be disinfected!
