certainly, it brings me back memories. Just that my memory doesnt occur in Paris Ris, it happened in Lim Chu Kang. :) those days when i would pestered my dad to bring me to those farms in Lim Chu Kang to see and buy goldfishes.
I remembered how totally obsessed I was with goldfishes since Primary 5 when Clarence always tell me about goldfishes, and I started off with 5 goldfishes which costs 20 cents each. I lied to my parents saying that my teacher wanted to cultivate our patience and whatever bullshit so we should try to keep fishes. And since it's only $0.20 each, my daddy allow me to buy goldfishes. :)
I spent most of my time looking at them swimming around and cleanse the water tank weekly without fail. I even scrub the cheap water pumper (about $5 if i didn't remembered wrongly) which can take me up to 2 hours weekly. Probably that's the reason why they lived with me for 1 years plus before most of them died away because I've moved to my current place and the water (had to be overnight water but i didn't knew it) caused their death.
So, I've started keeping new species - Red Headed Goldfishes. I brought 5 of them at $2.50 each from Farmart (Lim Chu Kang) and I was so delighted because I didn't expected my dad to buy them for me.
That was also the last batch of goldfishes which I kept, and the reason why I hated Flower Horn Fish (Luo Han Fish). Most of them (red headed goldfishes) died when I went overseas with my parents for a few days. The lucky few ones were kept together with that damned Flower Horn Fish (which is very very very small size at that time) when i told my parents "NO DO NOT PUT THEM TOGETHER". in the end, just a night, none of my goldfishes survived.
I got so upset by it I refused to talk to my parents and I stopped myself from expressing interests in goldfishes, much less than to buy them. Even thought my dad brought goldfishes last year, I was already immure to it. I couldn't care to look at them for more than 5 minutes.
But today, I went to the fish farms and I saw those fishes, suddenly i realised how much I wanted to go back to those days when I spend all my time looking at my fishes, spending 2 hours every weekend squatting down in the toilet just to cleanse the fish tank. But just the thought of all my goldfishes dying away.. stops me from thinking further more.
anyway, back to today. we stopped at one of the fish farms because my dad is still very obsessed with fishes (apparently, his obsession started right around the time frame when mine stopped)
hehe, looked so dao. cute sia!
this is disgusting. it reminds me of my days when I was 11 and my classroom is air conditioned. Well, apparently, my class were obsessed with worms (especially Clarence because worms are for fishes) and my classroom stinks of the earthworms smell.
i smelt it again yesterday and i almost puke.
afterwhich we went to one of the pet shop.
the fence which protected me and obstructed me also.
this is epic! the dog expression is so funny!
after which we went to other 2 pet shops but no photography is allowed. ): ): so damn sad la, cos the puppies there are so damn cuteeee!! suddenly got this temptation to buy one home! really really is ZOMG, I WANT ONE. especially those puppies which is extremely sporty and makes a lot of noise.
My favorite dog: Pembroke Welsh Corgi. woof woof.
his ear are so pointed so damn cute can. but no photos of it at all. ): ):
but can try googling!
the last pet farm we went to:
looked so sad!!
i really can't bear to bring them apart. i mean if i were to buy, i will just get two.
reminds me of 101 Dalmatians Dog!
used to be my favorite species also. I always never fail to put my finger in the water and let them suck it. my mum says it's disgusting but i don't find it so at all!
afterwhich we head off to Serangoon for dinner. I was tired already by then. and sunset today is breath taking! but sad i wasn't able to take a photo of it at all because I was in the car and i couldn't find a really nice view to take it! ): ): )P
so after dinner at Serangoon Hawker Center (not Chomp Chomp so sad), Dad drove us to Serangoon North to see animals again. I was so damn tired that i didn't want to get my butt out of my car initially but.. it's quite dangerous if I were to stay in the car cos it's parked at a really quiet multi-storey carpark. boy am i glad I've got off the car because I had a really fun time there exploring!
this is the last species of goldfishes which I've kept.
chinchilla! i've never had idea what a chinchilla is, but now i do have!
