DAY 4 - Cannington & Perth Zoo

not much photos for today cos at the zoo, my junior got sick and didn't take any photos and the photos i took sucks big.
i see already also shake head edit also terrible.

so errrr after having a "$100 coffee drink" dream in the morning, we set off to Cannington Shopping Mall for some shopping because my junior miss shopping and I need a pair of new shoes desperately as mine was declare un-useable yesterday midway in rottnest island. ):



so we took a bus instead of a train and it took like 1 hour to reach but it's okay. :D i prefer bus to MRT because i see very localised places like university where the students there are all errrr unique? you know~ not tees and jeans like in sg. OH WAIT. COLOURFUL- the word i wanted to use.

so anyway, we went there and first thing i saw was F.O.O.D. char siew bao, xiao long bao, siew mai, smell so O.M.G yummmmmmy! but i'm susposed to be on a budget trip (i keep reminding myself not to spend more than AUD$40 at the shopping mall) so wo ren wo rennnnnn!

and the first shop i went in is COTTON ON! wah i see this crop shirt which i super super like but i didn't get it in the end because grrr I'm on a budget trip. ):

then we went off to Jayjay.
arghhhh i saw the top i brought in frementle on day 1 going at only AUD$10.
I super sian!!

afterwhich we just walk around and my junior went to buy a lot of N15 or whatever rating movies. super funny! after paying,

me: so how did the person at the counter reacted?
junior: oh when she saw the N15 tag, she looked at me for a second and just continue with the checkout.
me: ohh. because she understand your needs. (afterwhich i just laugh like mad cos i find it really funny and my junior keep telling me "not that type la" that type is R21.)

apparantly their R15 is those what very literature, sadistic and dark movie. their heh heh heh heh movie is R21. but still, i find it very funny that the cashier looked at my junior for one second before checking out like LOL)



just when i was still laughing like mad, i saw this and "OMG, LEND ME YOUR CAMERA" snap snap, put back camera, continue laughing.

then we continued with our walking and then we pass by a mini "supermarket" and we were super tempted to buy some to eat but we decided to compare price in the super big supermarket so we went off to the super big supermarket.

anyway, in the end we didn't get any fruits because we are going to the zoo and it's very tiring to carry those fruits~~ (if not later we might quarrel over it again)







so we shop (or rather, my junior shopped) and all i did was buy a pair of shoes at AUD$19.99 and spent the remaining of my money at food and drinks.

the food i had is terrible. it's $9.95 and they will give you a plate and you can take as much as you like but once you walked out of the store, you can't come back for another round. you know i was so damn hungry and the food there are so expensive (wantan mee AUD$9.95 -____-) so of course i had to choose this!

The meat is so hard that i just can't take it. i COULDN't bring the heart to torture my poor teeth.
the chicken skin is hard like brick.
the rice is still edible and the chicken wing is not so bad~ but the meat seriously CMI ah.

oh then during my meal, i just kept hearing my junior harping about cotton on, cos my junior received a $10 New Zeland note (AUD$10 note is very very similar to NZ$10) and he is very sure that it's Cotton On who gave him that.
and when he return to Cotton On, apparantly the cashier just die die also won't admit. so he kept ranting about it over and over, but as a very diplomatic Libra, i "calm" him down by listing out all the possibilites of misunderstandings. okay fine, my calming doesn't exactly works well LOL.

oh! and ramdomly

MUAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA i feel so proud la k. cos my another junior thinks that i will shop more BUT NO, wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong!!
muahahahahahha. i got bored easily at shopping than my junior LOL.

then afterwhich we just head off back to Esplanade Station to catch a ferry to Perth Zoo.



in the ferry and i got really excited to see a rainbow (i still remembered the failed attempt to see a rainbow with siti after school that day. funny day!!) so i quickly snap it! :D

so we walked and walked and finally reached the zoo. my junior keep telling me "there's nothing in that zoo one la. singapore zoo is the biggest". but but but i'm still very excited because i've never been to Perth Zoo before mah.



so when we reached the zoo, we put our things in the locker and was going off already when my junior said "oops, i left my camera in the locker". WAH, LAO NIANG was like "WHAT?" that freaking locker is $1 per use leh. and the worst thing is i have to share that $1 (for the 2nd time) with him. so it's like i have to pay $0.50 for his mistake. ): in the end i had no choice ma, cos i freaking need his camera. ): ): plus, he had a very bad day and keep giving in to me.

If i didn't guess wrongly, the blue stripes are used to prevent birds from flying in?

so nice to walk leh~ got shades and most importantly, very quiet!! :D



errrrr, i don't remembered seeing otters?

maybe it's the one i tried pushing my junior down and he got so freaking mad he almost murdered me.
but the way he sit really tempted me to push him down leh. LOL.

and then over here, there's no fences so you can touch the kangaroo.
they are all so sexy and sleepy!! :D

when they see you they will give you this sleepy-just-woke-up look and putting on that post.
i see the kangaroos i already want to laugh cos their posture so funny and their sleepy-want-to-sleep eyes make me want-to-laugh.

and nope, we didn't see tigers or lions cos by the time i remembered about them, the zoo is already going to close already. ):

so we walked back to a bus stop (my credit FINALLY!) and took a bus back to Esplanade then to Perth cos we wanted to head off to see a sunset but my junior was way too sick already so in the end we took the Blue Cat Bus and got ourself lost and finally took a cab back to the hotel.

It's like the main central of Perth and you get all the best Chinese Food here!
oh oh oh oh, and the best ice cream yummmmy!!!!

haha, it's like i keep ranting and ranting about NorthBridge but there's no photos so here's the photos!

it's considered the busiest time of the day (5pm or so) and everyone is off from work already.



anyway, while waiting for my junior, i sneaked off to Cotton On to see their clothes. ARGHHH i feel so tempted to try out their clothes but i didn't because i'm afraid my junior might come back anytime ): and oops, i'm not there!



there's MAC(book) inside the telechoice store!!!!
but so sad i never get a choice to explore inside. ):

then awesome! i went to Northbridge alone to dapao our dinner. so fun!!
the alleys are very dark and scary but of course EXCITING. muahahahah.
auctally we seen that place from the train on our 2nd day but we decided not to go there cos it's too dark.
BUT auctally when you are there, you will adjust to the lighting there and nopee you won't find it dark there. :D

so after i dapao i auctally took the wrong direction train LOL. i only realised it when the train moved and the first thing i thought about is "OMG. how long do i have to wait for the another direction later on" (the train intervals comes in as long as like 1/2 hour)

THANKS GOD i only waited for 3 mins.

damn cold!!! and dark!!
and i feel like going to get the ice cream when i was there!! LOL

then the food i had is OMG NICE. the fried rice is omg omg omg NICE. the oyster sauce chicken is like the chicken is nice (as in VERY SUPER NICE and TENDER) but the sauce is weird. but still, it's enough for me to finish all up!)
