my dodge-the-camera junior Hanbin in action.
went off to NP to install his program which apparantly took 4 hours, which lasted all the way until the IT helpdesk closed down. and then ohhh, i saw my classmate too;
classmate: you are here to install program?
me: oh. to accompany my... ...
(thinking which one to pick - brother/junior/friend, i wanted to said brother/junior la, but in the end )
... .... friend.
(see la so good i promote him)
so after installing, we are famished to the point that he spent $6 on junk food and we started to eat them at a rate so fast everything was gone within 15 mins. then we decided to head off to Holland V for dinner.
holland V at night is very westernized to me leh.
i guess it's because the shops there are all two levels building and well, Northbridge@Perth is something like that!
can't help but fall in love with Holland V @night.
plus plus plus, northbridge@perth have a mixture of chinese and angmohs, like holland V.
and northbridge@perth in night is full of chinese waiter and waiteress, which is totally like holland V la.
so we decided to settle on Essentials & Brews.
interesting shop!
we sat on the floor to eat and i've never tried it before in sg
(neither do my junior)
my junior trying to confuse my lens focus point by waving at it at a very rapid speed and was very pleased thinking that he succeed.
but sorry, failed.
the mushroom soup that came up first.
tastes good, just like campbell mushroom soup.
so yes, not worth it even though
our food.
errrr the food isn't nice to me leh. the jasmine rice ball is omg, horrible???
the chicken's texture is good but the sauce is too bland (which my junior agreed too after testing)
for the fish and chips, their fries is not bad, their cholesaw so so, their fish and chip soso.
afterwhich we realised there's no nets payment there so ooops, my junior had to go all the way to withdraw money (cos me no money and better still, forgotten to bring my card out) and he keep saying "walao paiseh leh" hahahaha.
then after that, we went off for ice cream! SUPER NICE !!!!
located at one of the shophouses opposite Cold Storage, very easy to spot one la.
the interior of the shop is very lively and cozy!!
so we went to try the ice cream, i picked simply chocolate (you know how i totally adores chocolate!) over chilli chocolate and Kookie Monster.
but the chilli chocolate is very unique! i've tried it straight after i tried Kookie Monster and i can't taste the chilli so i was thinking maybe i ate two different taste too fast hence can't taste out the 2nd one.
so i asked the waiter (who is super friendly!!) to let me try again and he told me to wait a while first. that's when i felt a surge of spicyness inside my throat.
like it's burning, but not really that type of omg i need water.
it felt more like a tinge of spicness. it's really unique but i would rather stick to my simply chocolate. :D :D
so we ordered Kookie Monster and Simply Chocolate with waffles.
heehehehe, my cute junior who's doing everything he can to stop me from spamming his photo.
but the thing is when i'm bored, i like to spam people's face.
simply chocolate. it's sticky and bitter. now i can stop missing the ice cream in aussie because this taste pretty much like the one in aussie. okay fine, all chocolate tastes more or less the same.
Kookie Monster ice cream which my junior ordered and after eating he said it's not really nice.
lastly! ending my post with this!
mine is the nicer one while my junior's is the more "artistic" one.
