So for the past whole week, my morning - late afternoon (9am - 4:30) were spent in school flying the flight simulator which i enjoyed, even thought the background and everything look so fake. not to mention, i'm auctally cherishing every minute using the joystick to fly the simulator, probably because I have to return the joystick next monday. ):

other than that, i'm chionging the preparation for the SYPA competition which I'm glad I've managed to force myself to join.

Well, initially when Yuling gave me that link, I knew I wouldn't want to join. But after thinking it throught about what she said, I decided to give it a try. But even as the deadline drew closer, I'm still hesistating if I should join.

Even for this week when I'm auctally preparing for the competition, I was auctally having doubts to whether I should join or not. ): It's like, I will be asking myself "should i join when my pieces aren't that good?", then i will clarify my own doubt "i should just join lah. there's always a first time. and there's no entry fee also."

so yupp, this past week, every night to wee morning, i've been preparing the photos and everything with Yuling. you have no idea how very very grateful i'm to her. She had so much workload but still, she is willing to help me with choosing the right photos, the best photoshop effect for the photo, rephrasing my artist statement. So much more she did that I felt so indebted to her.

we just discuss about some of the photos and then we spend most of the time editing the camera photo as seen below:

i couldn't get what she meant initially so she show me a example and then i tried to make the effect but in different shape. but in the end we didn't use either of the photo.

the one above is the first to be comfirm. initally yuling doesn't like this because the focus is on the sign road. but after i re-edit the photo, the focus is on the building. errr but to look back now, lol, seriously it doesn't look really that outstanding without re-editing.

errr so when i was photoshopping and i saw the colour i got, i was like "omg, the colour is nice" but well, i was thinking if it looks too unreal, and apparantly, it wasn't, because this was the 2nd to be comfirm.



apparantly, no one could guess the theme for this photo. it's under nature, because of the rainbow. and the title is it's everywhere. i used that title because there's little surprise awaiting for you at every point of time, but are you able to notice it? in this case, the rainbow is the little surprise. :)

Yuling and I didn't know what theme to put for this one, so firstly, i photoshopped away the legs (i was so damn happy cos I thought i will never be able to photoshop it away!) but well, apparantly, that's not needed because i decided to crop out the part.



well, my dear junior (woohoo! school started!) allowed me to use this photo for competition HAHAHA.



lastly this photo under nature. errr i was thinking whether to use this photo or the camera photo, cos i really do like the camera photo but apparantly EVERYONE preferred this to the camera shoot. ):
so i chose to submit this. (:
